Gangnam “Lee Sang-hwa has never been happier than the day he won a medal.”
Gangnam revealed that he has never been happy except for the day when his wife Lee Sang-hwa, the 'ice queen', won a gold medal.

In the 15th episode of KBS2's 'Walking Into the Fantasies', which airs on the 23rd, the second day of Gangnam and Lee Sang-hwa's trip to Bohol, Philippines is depicted. Lee Sang-hwa shows off his status as a world-class ice queen by revealing his lifestyle habits that have not changed even after retirement.

On this day, Gangnam surprised everyone by saying, "Lee Sang-hwa still goes to bed at 10 pm and wakes up at 5 am," and said that his routine has not changed even though it has been 5 years since he retired.

Lee Sang-hwa explains, “No one knows how it feels to have to wake up early in the morning and exercise.” He is said to have given a glimpse into the time of patience that started at dawn and the consistency that he maintained his routine for 25 years as an athlete.

Finally, Gangnam said, "My wife works out for 3 hours a day with our two dogs. They are both poodles, but they have the muscles of a Doberman," and made the studio burst into laughter by sharing the current status of dogs Kangbuk and Lia, who have become muscle dogs thanks to Lee Sang-hwa's routine.

Lee Sang-hwa also opens up about the circumstances that led him to consider retirement. The sudden announcement of Lee Sang-hwa's retirement after the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics continues to be a source of curiosity to the entire nation. Lee Sang-hwa said, "Actually, I also prepared for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics," and followed his heart by saying, "I worked out until December 2018 with the intention of doing more after the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, but I felt like I couldn't do it if I continued there." He reveals his true feelings about how he had no choice but to choose the path of retirement due to his health condition.

Gangnam surprised everyone by adding, “Sanghwa Lee said he was never happy except for the day he won the gold medal.” “Even on the morning of my retirement ceremony, I was crying at home because I didn’t want to go. I didn’t want to go out,” he said. “I cried every day for three years after I got married because I wanted to exercise (even after retirement),” which saddened the hearts of the cast members in the studio. Furthermore, Lee Sang-hwa honestly confessed, “I want to live a life that is not limited by time.”
