Jang Dong-yoon declares war on Choo Young-woo, up to 9.4%

In the 15th episode of KBS2's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Oasis', which aired on the 24th, Lee Doo-hak (played by Jang Dong-yoon) and Oh Jung-shin (played by Seol In-ah) give Choi Cheol-woong (played by Choo Young-woo) one last chance for revenge ahead of his obsession with Lee Doo-hak (played by Seol In-ah). The story of Choi Cheol-woong was depicted.
Earlier, Duhak made a mental decision to leave Korea and live there. However, seeing Doo-hak struggling with the fire in his heart, Seong-sin decided to put out the fire together. She knelt down and declared that she would break off relations with Cheol-woong, and Cheol-woong, who had been rejected by Jeong-shin, was overcome with despair. However, when he saw Doo-hak, who was thought to be dead, come back to life and live happily again, Cheol-woong's eyes were captured.
The reason why Jung-shin chose Doo-hak, the son of a laborer, rather than Cheol-woong, the son of an independence activist family, has been revealed. Even though the spirit was in a hopeless situation, the reason was said, “Your eyes always shined like the morning star.” Duhak, who was touched, knelt down and proposed, saying, "Be my Princess Pyeonggang. I will pay you back for the rest of my life." Cheolwoong, who watched Duhak and Jeongshin, became angry and placed surveillance on Duhak.
Oh Man-ok (played by Jin Yi-han), who realized that Cheol-woong was spying on Doo-hak, gave Doo-hak the information. Doo-hak showed Man-ok the scene of Cheol-woong meeting Yoo Young-pil (played by Jang Young-hyeon), leading Man-ok to suspect that Cheol-woong was the person who contracted Young-pil to murder him. Man-ok believed Doo-hak's words even more as she saw Cheol-woong's eyes rolling in contempt whenever he saw her. He decided to attack Cheol-woong first and touched Kang Yeo-jin's (played by Kang Kyeong-heon) funds.
Doo-hak, who met Cheol-woong, said, “I want to go back to that place and live quietly before I die,” and asked him to leave his mind alone. However, Doo-hak, who was rejected by Cheol-woong, became angry and said, "I will forget everything and quietly return to my place and live... Are you saying that is such a difficult request to grant? Is that even a greed that a person like me cannot dream of?"
Cheolwoong ignored Duhak's request and warned him to return to Japan within a week. Jung-shin was even more angry at the fact that Doo-hak did not receive an apology from Cheol-woong. She said she would take the risk and said, "I will hit every arrow that comes at you. Do it first before you get hurt." Jung-shin tried to convince Doo-hak to leave for Japan. Despite Cheol-woong's outburst, "Are you just going to run away and live?", he didn't even bat an eye, saying, "You can run away for the rest of your life. I will protect Doo-hak."
When Cheol-woong received a report that Doo-hak was working under Chairman Chae Dong-pal (played by Kim Byeong-gi), he went to Dong-pal and threatened to send Doo-hak back to Japan immediately. Doo-hak recalled Cheol-woong asking, "Are you confident that I will win?", thinking of the past. "You're such a smart guy, but you don't know that. Do you know what's more difficult? Maintaining second place by a narrow margin. Losing to you. He declared war, saying, “It was more difficult. I don’t want to lose the Son of Man.”
While trying to discuss the relationship between Doo-hak and Cheol-woong with Jeong-sin, Jeom-am-daek (played by So Hee-jeong) was shocked to hear about the bad relationship between the two in the past. She said she could no longer pretend not to know and decided, “I have to step forward.” Cheolwoong went on a rampage when even Jeomamdaek found out about his private affairs. He left the place as if running away without even listening to what Jeomamdaek called him to do.
Doo-hak used Go Pung-ho (played by Lee Han-wi) to embezzle Yeo-jin's assets, and Man-ok succeeded in driving a wedge between Yeo-jin and Chairman Geum Man-cheol (played by Mun Jeong-dae). Man-ok has Man-ok eavesdrop on the words of Jeong-yeong (played by Jeon No-min), who admits that Lee Jung-ho (played by Kim Myeong-soo) is the instigator of the murder, publishes this article in Sisa Bakkyeok, where Jung-shin is the publisher, and, through a prosecutor, busts the National Intelligence Service's slush fund ledger, leading to Loyalty, Yeo-jin, and Yeo-jin. The plan to bring down Cheolwoong all at once was completed.
However, it was shocking to see an unexpected development in which Loyalty eliminates Man-ok, who knows the secret that Cheol-woong is not his biological son. He said, "I just didn't want to break up with the person I've been waiting for my whole life. Yeo-jin must have had a hard time because of Team Leader Oh. For the sake of our family, be loyal until the end," and then shot Man-ok. The scene where Man-ok falls into the lake after being shot and Doo-hak, who eavesdropped on their conversation, is shocked marked the ending of episode 15 and made people sweat.
Meanwhile, according to Nielsen Korea, a viewership rating research company, on the 25th, the viewership rating for episode 15 of 'Oasis', which aired the previous day, was 8.0% nationwide and 8.2% in the metropolitan area, breaking its own highest viewership rating yet again. It not only took first place in its time slot across all channels, but also set a record of winning first place for 15 consecutive Monday-Tuesday dramas. The scene that recorded the highest viewer rating per minute was the scene where Hwang Chung-seong points a gun at Oh Man-ok, and it soared to 9.4% in the metropolitan area.
