SBS' global girl group audition 'Universe Ticket', scheduled to air in the second half of this year, is extending the applicant recruitment period.

The SBS 'Universe Ticket' production team announced on the 27th, "We will be accepting additional applications for 'Universe Ticket' by extending the application period by two weeks from the 30th to May 14th." 'Universe Ticket' made this decision at the request of people who heard the audition news late. According to the production team, numerous girls are currently applying from 103 countries, including not only Korea but also the United States, China, Japan, and India. It is said that there are many inquiries regarding support not only from trainees from famous domestic entertainment companies but also from girl groups that have already debuted.

SBS PD Lee Hwan-jin, who directed 'Universe Ticket', said, "I am very grateful that many applicants who already have significant fan bases applied, but at the same time, it makes me feel even more responsible. “We will do our best to help precious dreams shine in the new universe.”

‘Universe Ticket’ is the first large-scale global girl group audition program presented by SBS. The eight members selected as the final debut members in 'Universe Ticket' will work around the world for two years and six months under the co-production company F&F Entertainment with the goal of becoming the next generation of global stars.

Any girl over the age of 13 born before 2011 can apply for the ‘Universe Ticket’, regardless of nationality. You can apply on the official website not only as an individual trainee, but also if you are currently affiliated with an agency or have a past debut history.
