1.8 million YouTuber exposes JMS missionary methods
Jo Hyo-jin, a large YouTuber with 1.8 million subscribers, exposed the missionary methods of the Christian Gospel Mission (JMS).
Recently, Hyojin Cho, who runs the YouTube channel ‘Hyojinjo’, confessed her experience related to JMS. He said, "I was bullied by JMS for 3 months in the past. It was a whopping 10 years ago."
He went on to say, “They said they approach a lot of women in their early 20s who have a lot of worries,” and that he also contacted JMS after seeing an advertisement for a hobby class that said it would “teach college students for free.”
Jo Hyo-jin said, "I'm interested in fashion, so I applied to do clothing-making activities, and they told me I had to submit a portfolio or job application and go for an interview. There were a lot of different female college students. I'm probably the type of person who can fake an interview." “I think it was a procedure to check if it was true,” he said.
At this time, Mr. A, who introduced himself as an instructor, approached Jo Hyo-jin. He recalled that time, saying, “She listened to my story like a real sister and introduced me to many people who could help me.”
Jo Hyo-jin met a model-like woman through Ms. A. He said, "She was a very tall and pretty person who looked like a celebrity. She was talking about her life and said, 'It's important to have a good mentality,' and then she talked about mental health training. From then on, something was strange. Suddenly, ' He mentioned, “The story of ‘God’ came up. The meeting with the religious leader was slowly getting closer.”
Afterwards, based on their recommendation, he visited a company that was promoting a 'model talent donation program'. He said that during the interview at the time, the interviewers asked whether she had a boyfriend or not. The idea was that if you want to join the company, you must not have a boyfriend.
Jo Hyo-jin said, "When I told her that my boyfriend was in the military, he suddenly told me to stop using my cell phone starting tomorrow. He told me that I couldn't contact anyone and that I had to focus on this to find my career path. At that time, I got goosebumps from head to toe." He said.
He said, "When I came to my senses and looked around, I noticed a photo that looked like a religious leader and some strange verses that were not from the Bible. After that, I immediately blocked Mr. A, and I was scared, so I changed my number." "When I looked at them, they were all women. It seemed like they were targeting young, mentally unstable people," he explained.
Currently, JMS leader Jeong Myeong-seok is under arrest and indictment on charges of repeated sexual assault on female believers. He is accused of sexually assaulting a female believer 17 times from February 2018 to September 2021, and sexually assaulting an Australian believer 5 times from July 2018 to the end of that year.
