With Ra Mi-ran deciding to become a bad mother again for Lee Do-hyun, the drama broke its own highest viewership rating by recording 6.4%.

In the 3rd episode of JTBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Bad Mom', which aired on the 3rd, Kang-ho (played by Lee Do-hyun) was depicted as a child after an unexpected accident.

It was a dangerous accident that could have cost him his life, but Kang-ho barely regained consciousness and returned home. However, Yeong-soon (played by Ra Mi-ran) watched Kang-ho not putting anything in his mouth and not even moving his hands, and her heart burned black, and she had no choice but to become an even more persistently bad mother. Young-sun's maternal love, more affectionate and heartbreaking than ever, brought tears to my eyes. Accordingly, the viewer ratings for the third episode recorded 5.7% nationwide and 6.4% in the metropolitan area (Nielsen Korea, based on paid households), breaking its own record and taking first place in its time slot.

Young-sun went to the hospital after hearing the news of Kang-ho's accident. My son, who turned away coldly as if he would never see me again, was barely breathing, relying on an oxygen respirator. Only then did Young-soon remember the memories of how harsh and harsh she was to Kang-ho. But it could not be easily broken down. Upon hearing that all of her children were going to die, Young-sun gathered her strength by repeating, "Who dies? My son won't die. I won't kill him." Kang-ho was moved from the intensive care unit to a general hospital room, and after that, Young-sun stayed by her son's side day and night.

Perhaps thanks to Yeong-soon's extreme sincerity, Kang-ho woke up after a long time. However, it was difficult to expect it to be the same anymore. Due to paralysis caused by a car accident, he was unable to control his body properly, and due to retrograde memory disorder, he had the intelligence and memory of a seven-year-old. After being discharged from the hospital, Young-sun returned home with Kang-ho.

Kang-ho's condition was hidden from the Jouri people, but Mr. Park (played by Seo Yi-sook) and Mr. Jeong (played by Kang Mal-geum) found out about it. In the end, Young-soon burst into tears that she had been holding back and confessed that she was grateful just for being alive. And the neighbors also heard the news about Kang-ho from the two people. Meanwhile, Young-sun did everything she could for Kang-ho. He went to churches, cathedrals, and temples in search of all the gods in the world, praying and praying only for Kang-ho. As if praying to be able to eat at least, Kang-ho stopped eating and drinking after the accident, worrying Yeong-sun.

I tried to soothe him with all kinds of food, but it was no use. When Young-soon got angry and screamed at him and tried to feed him, Kang-ho opened his mouth that had been kept shut all this while. “Sleep when you’re full. If you sleep, you can’t study,” Young-sun shed tears of regret at the words that her past self used to say to young Kang-ho as a habit. Young-sun couldn't rest even for a moment because she was taking care of Kang-ho. Rehabilitation treatment was urgently needed to get back to where I was before. Young-sun, who saw that the robot that had been placed on the bed table accidentally fell, tried to get Kang-ho to move it again and again, but it was not easy.

Then, at a pig farm, Young-sun saw a hungry baby pig escape from its cage to eat feed, and a good idea occurred to her. They decided not to feed Kang-ho anymore and just watch him until he learns how to do it. As expected, Kang-ho, who was hungry, cried and fussed like a child, but Young-soon had no choice but to starve him for several days, determined to be a bad mother just once more. As if Yeong-sun's earnest heart was conveyed, Kang-ho finally lifted the spoon with his own hand. Young-sun's tearful eyes amidst a bright smile gave a touching impression, raising expectations for a new story between the two.

While Young-soon and Kang-ho suffer the aftereffects of the accident, it is revealed that the terrible traffic accident was planned by Oh Tae-soo (played by Jeong Woong-in). The twist that Kang-ho's fiancée Oh Ha-young (played by Hong Bi-ra), who was at the scene of the accident, also participated as an accomplice was also shocking. Song Woo-byeok (played by Choi Moo-seong) immediately suspected Oh Tae-soo upon hearing the news of the accident of Kang-ho, whom he cherished like his son, and personally confirmed the fate of the truck driver who caused the accident. However, Song Woo-byeok, who heard that he had made an extreme choice after the accident, predicted an unusual move. Here, Mi-ju (played by Eun-jin Ahn), who has twin siblings, loses all the money she invested in a nail salon after being scammed by her business partner Seon-yeong (played by Ha-nui Oh), while Sam-sik (played by In-su Yoo), who was imprisoned in prison, meets Mi-joo immediately after being released from prison. He disappeared without any news, raising curiosity.
