Na-rae Park mentions ‘sexual harassment controversy’
Broadcaster Park Na-rae reflected on the past sexual harassment controversy.

Recently, Park Na-rae appeared on the YouTube channel 'Oh Eun-young's Bucket List' and met Dr. Oh Eun-young and shared her concerns.

Na-rae Park visited Dr. Eun-young Oh with the concern of ‘open courtship’. Park Na-rae revealed her worries and anxieties starting with her marriage. First, he said, "I really want to get married. But due to the nature of the program I'm doing ('I Live Alone'), I can't fake a marriage. Won't the show be cut off? What should I do?"

He also cited fellow broadcaster Hong Hyun-hee as an example and said, "That's why Hyun-hee is like a unicorn among our comedians."

After hearing this, Dr. Oh Eun-young commented, "Hyun-hee gets married, has a baby, and becomes even more successful. When she finds someone she likes, her priorities change comfortably and her life flows naturally. There is no need to worry about it in advance."

Marriage was not the only concern Na-rae Park had in mind. He also expressed his thoughts on the sexual harassment controversy he caused in the past.

Previously, Na-rae Park conducted the ‘Hey Narae’ content with YouTuber Hey Jini in March 2021. Due to the nature of the content, the main audience was children. However, controversy over sexual harassment arose after only two episodes of broadcast.

At that time, in the process of introducing Heijini and the doll, Na-rae Park not only made comments that were 19+, but also continued sexual descriptions, such as putting the doll's arm between the dies.

Accordingly, Park Na-rae, who was in her prime including winning the grand prize at the MBC 2019 ‘Broadcasting Entertainment Awards’, fell from likeable to unfavorable.

Park Na-rae said, "I can't make everyone laugh anyway, and the dominant thought was that if only one person laughed when they saw me, I would do a joke for that person. That was my comedy philosophy. But after going through a difficult time, I couldn't just work hard. I liked myself. "It's not something other people can laugh about comfortably. I've come to think a lot that I shouldn't have done it if it made even one person uncomfortable. I'm still learning," he said, urging himself.

Oh Eun-young cheered for Park Na-rae, saying, "I think it was an opportunity to learn a lot about what the public who supported Na-rae thought. If you see a person as a piece of cloth, there is a hole in it. You have to sew it up and fill it up yourself."
