Gangnam, convinced of marriage after seeing the muscles of Lee Sang-hwa and others
The 16th episode of KBS2's 'Walking Into the Fantasy', which aired on the 7th, depicted Gangnam Lee Sang-hwa's initial trip to the Philippines, a couple who have been married for 5 years.
On this day, Seo Hyo-rim, daughter-in-law of actress Kim Soo-mi, appeared as a daily special MC. When Seo Hyo-rim saw the wall of blankets piled up like a tower in the center of Gangnam and Lee Sang-hwa's bed, she burst out laughing by making an honest comment, saying, "That's a good thing. Since we're newlyweds, if we don't use one bed, we'll have to share separate rooms when we have a baby."
Gangnam boasted to Lee Sang-hwa that he had rented a large yacht for snorkeling and led him to the sea, and showed off his friendliness by decorating the inside of the yacht with things that Lee Sang-hwa likes, drawing admiration. Lee Sang-hwa repeatedly said, “It’s so good,” all the way to the snorkeling point, while nagging Gangnam to pay attention to skin care. The sight of Gangnam listening to this half-heartedly made people laugh as they were a real couple of 5 years together.
Gangnam and Lee Sang-hwa arrived in front of the wooden bridge at Nalusuan, a popular photo spot in Cebu, but it was damaged by a typhoon and restoration work was in full swing. When a strong wind suddenly blew and Lee Sang-hwa became frightened, Gangnam said, "I'll catch you," showing off the beauty of a dependable husband, but also showing off his mischievous side by teasing Lee Sang-hwa by admiring his back muscles. After spending a sweet time taking photos of themselves in various poses against the strong wind with the bridge in the background, the two went snorkeling in earnest.
Lee Sang-hwa overcame his fear and entered the sea, holding Gangnam's hand tightly. Lee Sang-hwa, who enjoyed snorkeling while surrounded by tropical fish swimming among coral reefs, said, “The feeling of coexisting with beautiful nature was mysterious.” Gangnam also said, “I was proud to be able to teach (my wife) something and it was nice to see her like it.”
The two had a picturesque time with the sunset horizon in the background, and Gangnam moved to a fishing point and took on the challenge of catching sea urchins in earnest. We finished our meal admiring the table of Filipino home-cooked meals prepared on board the yacht and the sweet and fresh taste of the sea urchins we caught ourselves. Lee Yeon-bok was impressed, saying, “For this price, you can make a lot of really good dishes,” and suggested that they each buy ingredients and cook. Jeong Seung-soo, who did not miss this, encouraged him by saying, "Is this a battle of pride between two chefs?", and Lee Hong-woon challenged him, saying, "Look forward to it. I will definitely win today." Lee Yeon-bok aroused interest by leisurely responding, "Are you attacking me now? I'm Lee Yeon-bok." Two people have to complete a dish in 25 minutes. The father-son competition between the two people, who each prepared pork back ribs and shrimp as their main ingredients, was reminiscent of a cooking contest.
The winner and loser was decided by the evaluation of three local judges invited by his son-in-law, Jeong Seung-su. When the judges who tasted Lee Hong-woon's dish first gave a thumbs up, Lee Yeon-bok sharpened his edge, and tension rose as the judges made incomprehensible expressions at Lee Yeon-bok's dish. However, the judges' choice was Lee Yeon-bok's back rib dish. They were evaluated by two judges as "easy to eat and the taste of the fruit sauce was new," and the two attracted attention by tasting each other's dishes and continuing their research. Lee Yeon-bok, who shared the food she cooked with her son and son-in-law, ended her trip by saying, "It was really successful."
