Actress Lim Ji-yeon is making another acting transformation through Genie TV's original drama 'House with a Yard'.

‘House with a Yard’ is a drama based on the best-selling novel of the same name. This is a suspense thriller about two women from completely different lives who meet because of a suspicious smell coming from their backyard.

‘House with a Yard’, which stimulates curiosity with the mystery of one line, “I smell a corpse in the backyard,” is directed by Jeong Ji-hyun, who was recognized for his sensuous directing skills in the dramas ‘Enter a search term WWW’ and ‘Twenty-Five-Twenty-One’. It's a new work. Here, a solid cast of actors, including Kim Tae-hee (playing Moon Ju-ran), Lim Ji-yeon (playing Choo Sang-eun), Kim Seong-oh (playing Park Jae-ho), and Choi Jae-rim (playing Kim Yun-beom), worked together.

Meanwhile, a still of Lim Ji-yeon, who plays the main character Sang-eun, has been released for the first time, drawing attention. In the play, Lim Ji-yeon will play the role of Sang-eun, a victim of domestic violence who dreams of escaping from the miserable reality, and will portray the inherent desire to escape the hellish reality through powerful acting.

Lim Ji-yeon, who showed a limitless acting spectrum between movies and dramas, won the Best Supporting Actress Award in the TV category at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards. Accordingly, attention is focused on whether Lim Ji-yeon, who returned to thriller, will create another syndrome through 'House with a Yard'.

In the still released on the 17th, Lim Ji-yeon catches people's attention as she embodies with her whole body the unfortunate situation of a woman driven to domestic violence. Lim Ji-yeon's desperate eyes shining through her tangled hair evoke sadness. In the play, Lim Ji-yeon will be at the center of a huge mystery as she becomes entangled with Kim Tae-hee, who plays Joo-ran, who becomes confused by the smell of a corpse in her yard. It raises questions about whether Lim Ji-yeon has anything to do with the smell of a corpse coming from Kim Tae-hee's yard.
