Kang Ho-dong "I'm strong with Lee Seung-gi,"
Kang Ho-dong spoke about the entertainment show ‘Brother Ramen’ and the sincerity of K-Ramen.

'Brothers Ramen', which is scheduled to be aired for the first time on the 22nd, features Kang Ho-dong, Lee Seung-gi, and Bae In-hyuk opening a 'ramen shop' in a famous tourist destination in Japan, introducing a variety of variations of ramen with the taste of Korea, and spreading K-pop to Japan, which is accustomed to ramen. A program to promote ramen.

Above all, 'Brother Ramen' is attracting attention as Kang Ho-dong, who has extensive knowledge about ramen and food, joins as the eldest of the three brothers. In relation to this, Kang Ho-dong expressed his affection and pride for ‘Brother Ramen’ through his honest remarks.

Q1. He is recognized as Korea's representative MC in name and reality, crossing genres. Is there a reason why you decided to appear in ‘If Brothers’?
In the meantime, he has generously expressed his love for 'ramen' through various broadcasts. So I felt very attracted to the idea of doing a program using my favorite ramen. I also thought it would be refreshing to present our country’s ramen to foreign people. I was curious about how foreigners perceive the taste of ramen, and crucially, I wanted to spread the word about the taste of ramen.

Q2. You seem to have a particular love for cooking-related programs. I'm curious about what your favorite food is and whether ramen is one of your favorite foods.
I am very interested in not only eating, but also cooking and ingredients. Rather than having a specific favorite food, I like to find and eat foods that are in season. Ramen is a food I always love, regardless of the season. Strangely enough, I never seem to get tired of eating ramen (laughs). I especially enjoy visiting it because I think the flavors that can be created when boiled with seasonal ingredients are endless.

Q3. I understand that in this ‘Brother Ramen’, we tried 21 ramen recipes loved by Koreans. What recipe did you try in ‘Brother Ramen’?
As briefly shown in the teaser video, I tried a variety of recipes. If you watch the broadcast, you will see that they tried many variations using ramen as a base, ranging from familiar recipes to novel recipes that you could not imagine. I know you're probably curious, but I can't reveal the recipe right now. This is because it is the top trade secret of ‘Brother Ramen’ (laughs). Please look forward to seeing how many different types of ramen will appear in this broadcast.

Q4. I'm curious if there are any recipes from 'Brother Ramen' that you can confidently recommend, and if there were any recipes that were difficult to make during this filming.
Our recipes are ‘highly recommended’ for all menu items. While watching 'Brother Ramen', if you come across a recipe that suits your taste, it would be fun to try it at home. And rather than saying that there was a recipe that was difficult to make, the most careful and attentive thing was getting the timing of boiling the noodles, which is the basis of the recipe, right. I think that 'how well the ramen noodles are cooked' largely determines the taste of the ramen, so it was the most difficult part and I did my best.

Q5. How was your chemistry with the ‘Brother Ramen’ members?
Isn’t the name of our program ‘Brother Ramen’? While filming this, I really felt the chemistry between brothers. In particular, it was really reassuring to be with Lee Seung-gi, who has already become a veteran broadcaster, and Bae In-hyuk, who I heard was his first entertainment show, was a truly pure and passionate friend. Please look forward to the brotherly chemistry we will show.

Q6. What was the most memorable moment while filming ‘Brother Ramen’?
Strangely enough, it seems like every moment is imprinted in my mind (laughter). If I had to choose one of them, I remember the time when I took a hard walk to the beach after successfully completing a day's business. For some reason, the sound of the waves I heard at this time was particularly clear to my ears.

Q7. As it is a program with special meaning in that it will spread Korean ramen to Japan, the home of ramen, the resolution is unique and the episodes are likely to be unique as well. Are there any anecdotes that were touching? On the other hand, were there any dizzying moments of crisis?
Every moment was a dizzying crisis and an opportunity for me. People cook ramen every time, and the intensity of the fire varies from time to time. So we put a lot of effort into ensuring that every dish tastes the same. In that sense, I focused on every moment, thinking it was a crisis, and when I saw people enjoying it, I felt relieved and moved on to the next step. I felt proud that it was an opportunity to promote our ramen overseas.

Looking back now, the moment when the first customer of ‘Brother Ramen’ ate ramen for the first time remains in my memory for a long time. Personally, it was a great experience to see the first bowl that I made with a lot of thought and effort being delivered to the customer and enjoy it.

Q8. What do you think are the unique strengths of ‘Brother Ramen’?
It's Kang Ho-dong, Lee Seung-gi, and Bae In-hyuk. I think I was able to complete the journey of ‘Brother Ramen’ because I was with two passionate and cheerful people. Although we each have different personalities and strengths and weaknesses, I think the greatest strength of 'Brother Ramen' is the close chemistry between the three of us, like real brothers.

Q9. What are the highlights of ‘Brother Ramen’ that viewers can look forward to?
I think the key points of our program are ‘effort’ and ‘diversity.’ Aren’t our brothers experts in cooking? So, I tried really hard to promote our country’s ramen. We also prepared various types of ramen to appeal to the tastes of foreigners, and I hope you can check this out on the broadcast. I hope you can see how much effort and diversity we have made to meet the expectations of local people.

Q10. Lastly, what are your aspirations for ‘Brother Ramen’?
I did my best to promote K-food and K-ramen with all my heart and soul, without even sparing my body. As this is a program that many people worked hard to create, I hope that our sincerity is conveyed well to the viewers. And I would appreciate it if you enjoyed watching it.

The production team said, “Kang Ho-dong, who is a self-proclaimed national MC and has a deep knowledge of food, pushed and pushed ‘Brother Ramen’ and played the role of a reliable older brother to perfection.” They added, “Kang Ho-dong, who is more sincere about ramen than anyone else, created ‘Global K-Ramen’. “Please watch the process to see if we can create a wave of .”

'Brother Ramen', co-produced and broadcast by TV CHOSUN and Discovery Channel Korea, will premiere at 10 PM on the 22nd.
