Kim Min-jung, a 'high school mom' who confessed to being a victim of school violence, was diagnosed with 'dissociative disorder' (multiple personality), but received applause from viewers for showing her will to overcome the trauma with the strong support of her husband.

In the 18th episode of MBN's 'High School Dad Adults Don't Know (hereinafter referred to as 'High School Dad 3')', which aired on the 17th, Kim Min-jung, who is raising her 9-month-old son Ji-hoo, and her husband Shin Won-jun appeared. On this day, Kim Min-jung showed without hesitation her everyday life of conflict due to her husband's 'loss of contact' while raising Ji-hoo, and her severe suppression of emotions due to the trauma of being a victim of school violence. Kim Min-jeong, who confessed to her husband the pain of past 'school violence' for the first time, proceeded with counseling after discussion. I decided to work with my husband to overcome the trauma. The episode aired on this day recorded a rating of 2.0% (based on the second part of Nielsen Korea's paid broadcast households).

First, the story of Kim Min-jung becoming a 'high school mom' was told in a reenactment drama. Kim Min-jung, who suffered from school violence in high school, said, “When it became known that the ex-boyfriend of the school violence perpetrator was dating me, the group of perpetrators harassed me even more. “I suffered from not only physical violence but also malicious rumors, so I ended up transferring to a different neighborhood, but I also suffered from psychological pain, including panic attacks, at my new school,” he confessed.

As time passed, Kim Min-jeong returned to her hometown and while looking for a part-time job, she met a man and they became lovers. However, Kim Min-jung, who started dating, showed an obsession with cleanliness, and due to the aftereffects of school violence, she showed a scary change and ended up breaking up with her boyfriend. The two, unable to forget each other, met again a year later and started living together, and then the second generation came. As rumors of cohabitation and pregnancy spread throughout the small town, Kim Min-jung's anxiety worsened, but she gradually stabilized under the care of her boyfriend. However, when Kim Min-jung saw the perpetrator who had harassed her in the past on TV, she fell into a state of panic again.

After the reenactment drama ended, Kim Min-jung and her husband Shin Won-jun appeared together in the studio. At this event, Kim Min-jung revealed her daily life and the problems she was experiencing while her husband was away, saying, “I had never properly talked to my husband about the situation during the school violence until I appeared on the broadcast.”

In the following daily video, Kim Min-jung aroused admiration by carefully taking care of her 9-month-old son, running the household according to the plan she had set, and even thoroughly developing herself. However, when her husband, who worked at a car center, could not be reached because he was busy handling emergency dispatch cases, Kim Min-jung suddenly became sensitive. Eventually, I got into an argument with my husband who came home for lunch. The offended husband went back to work without even eating lunch.

Kim Min-jung, who was angry, nervously wiped her slippers and hypnotized herself by saying, “It’s okay.” She also expressed roller coaster-like emotions by saying, “I don’t feel good, no, I feel good.” Even in the evening, when her husband was late getting off work, Kim Min-jung did not rest for a moment, giving Ji-hoo an unplanned bath. In response to this, Kim Min-jung revealed the secret reason in an interview with the production team, saying, "If I don't do anything, memories of being bullied at school come to mind," arousing regret.

Kim Min-jung, who put Ji-hoo to sleep, had a serious conversation with her husband who returned home. At this event, Kim Min-jung admitted, “I feel more anxious than others.” He also confessed, “Actually, I still can’t get over my past of being ostracized.” Kim Min-jeong said, “There were rumors that he was working at a bar after transferring to school,” and “The source was the instigator of school violence and his friends, and many people still believe the rumors.” She then confessed, “During my postpartum care period, I received a DM message from the perpetrator. After seeing the apology message that unilaterally forced me to tell my story, I lost the desire to forgive.”

The husband, who heard the shocking story, recommended psychological counseling, saying, “It is a problem for the entire family that goes beyond just the individual.” A few days later, the two visited a counseling center together. After looking into Kim Min-jeong's inner thoughts, who kept denying and avoiding her emotions, the expert diagnosed her as "to put it cautiously, it seems like dissociative disorder (multiple personality)." Kim Min-jung said, “I agree” with the explanation that she seemed to have separated herself from the painful experiences of the past. Shin Won-jun said, “I felt like I was indifferent as a husband, and I was so sorry that I cried.”

After returning home, the couple sat down to have an honest conversation. At this time, Kim Min-jung asked, “Do you regret marrying a flawed wife?” Shin Won-jun gave his wife confidence, saying, “I have no regrets.” Shin Won-jun then suggested, “Let’s go to counseling together when we have time,” and to Kim Min-jung’s reply, “When you’re ready,” he said, “I’ll wait.” “Let’s work together to overcome the wounds of the past,” he promised. Jo Young, a psychological counselor, gave warm advice, saying, “I recommend practicing letting go of your obsessions.”

Afterwards, Kim Min-jung's bright appearance as she regained her daily life by passionately working part-time as a fitting model was revealed and received applause from viewers.
