Lee Do-hyun stands on his own two feet to save Ramiran from hanging.

In the 7th episode of JTBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Bad Mom', which aired on the 17th, Young-soon (played by Ra Mi-ran) prepared for Kang-ho (played by Lee Do-hyun) to stand alone. Like a mother pig sending her babies away after 25 nights, Young-sun, who was diagnosed with cancer, was accepting the reality that she too would have to part ways with Kang-ho someday. However, Young-sun, who was pessimistic about life, hanged herself, and the amazing sight of Kang-ho, who had saved her, standing on his own two feet unfolded, giving a heart-warming experience. The viewership rating was 7.5% nationwide and the highest in the metropolitan area at 8.2% (Nielsen Korea, based on paid households), ranking first in the same time slot. Target 2049 viewership rating was also 2.1%, ranking first in the same time slot.
Youngsun, who was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer, was in a situation where surgery and treatment were impossible. It's too late to do anything. But I couldn't just be sad, frustrated, and break down like this. Yeong-soon gathered her strength and taught her son Kang-ho how to live on his own. From the daily tasks that Yeong-soon has been doing as Kang-ho's hands and feet up until now to managing the pig farm that he and Hae-sik (Cho Jin-woong) have maintained, he comforted and informed them, saying, "Let's think about each thing one by one and learn it step by step."
Yeongsun's fate was truly unfortunate. Her parents and husband passed away one by one, her son survived the accident, and even though she herself had only a short time left to live due to cancer, her misfortune was not over. Trotback's (Baek Hyun-jin) protest wasn't enough, and to make matters worse, the pig farm was shut down overnight. As a result, Yeongsun was devastated, as if she had lost everything, and the people of Jouri Village could not even comfort her because they were so sorry.
Mi-joo (played by Eun-jin Ahn), who opened a nail shop in a pesticide shop in town, also heard the news about Young-sun's. An anxious thought crossed my mind when I heard that Youngsun had purchased herbicide. Sure enough, when he visited Hae-sik's grave with Kang-ho, he was holding pesticide in his hand. All that was left for Yeong-soon was despair, but unexpectedly, Kang-ho remembered the pig 'lion' at home and offered comfort mixed with hope, saying, "When the lion grows up and gives birth to cubs, we can farm again." Fortunately, after hearing those words, Youngsun gave up her extreme thoughts.
However, Youngsun was definitely different from before. He gave gifts to Mr. Park (played by Seo Yi-sook) and Mr. Jeong (played by Kang Mal-geum) as a sign of gratitude, and later met with a lawyer to organize Kang-ho's assets for him. When Kang-ho was returning from the bathhouse with Sam-sik (played by Yoo In-su), Young-soon took him straight to a rehabilitation nursing home and applied for admission. Kang-ho, who was suddenly told that he would have to live without his mother in an unfamiliar place, cried and cried like a child.
Yeong-sun returned home that way, leaving Kang-ho behind. He was preparing for the end alone. After tidying up the house and decorating it nicely, Young-sun left two letters. However, in the meantime, Kang-ho left the rehabilitation nursing home. I got a strange feeling from my mother, who did not give any answer to the question, “Are you going somewhere nice by yourself?” Kang-ho rolled the wheels of his wheelchair again and again in the direction indicated by the map. Kang-ho's fingernails bled as he ran for a while, and it started to rain as he reached the village. The moment Yeong-sun was about to hang herself, Kang-ho discovered her and picked her up by her legs. He then got up from his wheelchair and stood on his own two feet, creating a miraculous ending.
On this day, the sight of Young-sun preparing to say goodbye to Kang-ho brought tears to my eyes. Kang-ho stands up in front of Yeong-soon, who is about to leave after finishing everything. Attention is focused on whether a new life will unfold for the two.
Meanwhile, Chief So (played by Choi Soon-jin) and Assistant Manager Cha (played by Park Cheon), who unexpectedly landed in Jouri Village, provoked unexpected laughter and stimulated curiosity by discovering UBS containing Kang-ho's secret. As a result, a twist was revealed that 'Prosecutor Choi Kang-ho', who had been helping Woo Byeok (played by Choi Moo-sung) and the company's crisis, was in fact the person who exposed the corruption. In addition, Kang-ho is depicted seeing Tae-soo (played by Jeong Woong-in) on TV and recalling fragments of his memory, making people curious about the 'big picture' that Kang-ho created before the accident.
