Lee Yeon-hee, the first proposed short cut
Lee Yeon-hee revealed that she sought advice from people around her for acting as an office worker in Disney+'s 'Race'.

Recently, at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Seoul, I met actress Lee Yeon-hee, who appeared in the Disney+ original series 'Race'. Lee Yeon-hee took on the role of Park Yoon-jo, who worked at a small public relations agency and joined a large company as a contract employee through the non-discriminatory recruitment 'Spec Out Project'.

Lee Yeon-hee said, “While preparing for this work, I asked people who commute. They said that if there was a , they would talk right away and be honest. They said that they were anxious and had fun because they didn't know what was going to happen as they watched from the middle. I asked them as they gradually expanded. He continued, "I was curious about the daily routine of public relations workers, so I asked the author if there was a book that would be helpful, and he recommended it. It was a book written by a group of publicists. I got a lot of information through the book."

When asked if there were any similarities or differences from the life of an actor after experiencing an office worker indirectly, Lee Yeon-hee said, "I thought it would be difficult to commute at a set time. What was fun was that everyone got together and thought about the lunch menu rather than talking about work. It worked. It was also fun to feel united while drinking afterward.” He continued, “I think commuting to and from work is really difficult. Actors can rest a little freely when they want to rest and work when they want to work. Office workers can’t rest when they want to rest. I thought I should adjust it well. In that respect, I understand why my friends these days separate work and private life so much."

Lee Yeon-hee cut her hair short for this character. He said, "I wanted to transform myself a little, and there were many people who worked in public relations around me with a short haircut. I had a lot of activities so I couldn't pay attention to my hair, so it seemed like I had short hair. He said it seemed like a good way, and he said it was good." When asked if he was satisfied with the short cut style, he said, "It's good. I looked for a lot of drafts and chose them. Instead, it was a bit difficult during the filming. I had to keep cutting it when the time came, so my friend who had to cut it had a hard time." When asked if he would stick with the short cut style, he laughed, saying, "It's a little uncomfortable. Depending on how you style it, you can look younger or look older. I'm growing it right now."

'Race' is an office work in which Park Yoon-jo (played by Lee Yeon-hee), who has no qualifications but has a passion for a contract job at a large company, is caught up in a recruitment scandal and struggles to survive at work. Starting from the last 10 days, two episodes are being released every Wednesday.
