Both the shameless criminal who said he would speak up when evidence was found, and the criminal who committed a crime of shame, eventually bowed their heads to the detectives.

The first case introduced by Detective Inspectors Kim Ji-hoon and Choi Hee-yeol started with the wife's missing report, saying that the husband had called the previous day to go out to dinner with business partners and could not be reached. The missing person was the son of a wealthy man and the president of a construction company. The managing director said that the president, who had a high alcohol consumption, was drunk that day, and on the way home, he woke up and got off alone.

However, his testimony turned out to be false. The president, who seemed to have drunk the drink conveyed by the managing director, was drooping after an hour. Detectives caught the situation that the managing director borrowed a shovel to plant trees at a gas station the day after the president's disappearance, and put in 1,200 search crews.

The managing director said to the detective, “Let’s go all the way. When I find the evidence, I will open my mouth then,” he responded shamelessly. Detective Kim knew that lies and truth were mixed in the words of the executive director, so he focused on the 'tree'. The next day, the managing director asked to be sent to the hospital, where he sat down after hearing the news that the president's body had been found. The boss was buried under a tree. The cause of death was cervical compression asphyxiation, and sleeping pills were also detected.

The managing director, who joined the company as a scout, said, “If the president does well, he will pass the company on to his son,” but insisted, “I pretended not to know even when the results came out.” The managing director was in a position where he could not even pay the maintenance fee for the apartment due to the failure of the investment. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison for murder and abandonment of a corpse.

The second case was introduced by detectives from the Korea Coast Guard. After 11:00 p.m., a man called 119 and reported that the car was missing at the dock of Dongbaek Island in Busan, asking for help. Then, a woman called 112 and called for help in a terrified voice. Two men survived, but the woman tragically died. The first reporter, Choi, was the husband of the deceased woman, Yoon, and another man and driver was Choi's junior.

They parked their car near the dock of Dongbaek Island. According to Mr. Choi, the car fell into the sea while he went to pick up a water bottle he had left outside. Detectives went to the scene as the day dawned, but there were barriers on both sides of the entrance to the dock. The junior said that he suddenly accelerated while reversing, but the vehicle did not match his words and fell to the side of the dock. The juniors rushed into the sea on purpose. As a result of the investigation, the motive for the crime was her husband, Mr. Choi.

Mr. Yoon had life insurance, and the insurance money exceeded 1.1 billion won. The recipient was Mr. Choi, who owed 200 million won. As a result of checking Choi's cell phone, there was a wedding invitation, but the bride was not Yoon. Eventually, Choi confessed to the detectives. Mr. Choi, who divorced Mr. Yoon and received alimony as pocket money, committed a crime to settle debts and marriage funds with insurance money when alimony money ran out. It is known that Mr. Choi already took out his wife's death insurance four years before the crime, before marriage. Mr. Choi received 23 years, and his junior received 13 years.
