'Bad Mother' Ra Mi-ran "Park Bo-kyung is a mask girl, she has great perseverance... Choi Moo-seong is a cutie"
On the 8th, I had an interview with actress Ra Mi-ran at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at the end of the JTBC drama 'Bad Mother'.
'Bad Mother' tells the story of a mother, Young-soon (Ra Mi-ran), who had no choice but to be a bad mother for her child, and her son Kang-ho (Lee Do-hyun), who became a child in an unexpected accident, in search of lost happiness. Ra Mi-ran played the role of Jin Young-sook, who volunteered to be a bad mother in order not to inherit the pain of poverty and ignorance while raising her son while running a pig farm alone.
As he was the president of a pig farm in the play, there were many episodes with pigs. Ra Mi-ran said, "The pigs acted so well. People know it as CG, but almost all of them were real pigs. There was almost no CG except for the pigs in the opening. They said they were pigs attending a special animal school. When the keeper calls, they run like ghosts." he recalled.
In the play, Mrs. Son Yong-rak (played by Kim Won-hae), the head of the play, appeared with a mask pack on from beginning to end, arousing curiosity about her identity. The identity of Lee Jang's wife is actor Park Bo-kyung, who is also the wife of actor Jin Seon-gyu. Ra Mi-ran smiled, saying, "I thought I wouldn't continue to use a mask pack, but I used it until the end. I thought that the perseverance was amazing. The writer is great, but it's hard for the actors to accept it. I even joked that my skin would improve."
Choi Moo-seong, who played a neighbor in 'Reply 1988', and Ra Mi-ran, who met as a victim and an assailant in 'Bad Mother'. Regarding Choi Moo-sung, he said, "Senior Moo-seong is so cute. He's shy, but when we get to know him, he tells a lot of funny stories. But he's not fun at all. He's a senior, but he's so cute." The suit teeth were so cool,” he recalled.
