Three cheers Lee Dong-wook won against the mercenaries, but lost Ryu Kyung-soo

In the 11th episode of tvN's Saturday and Sunday drama, 'Tale of a Nine Tailed Fox', which aired on the 10th, Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook) fought a duel with the mercenaries while regaining his body from the Japanese monster Nyu-do (Jung Seon-cheol).
Lee Yeon succeeded in regaining her body by taking advantage of the opportunity that New Do tried to exchange with Cheon Moo-yeong (played by Ryu Kyung-soo). Afterwards, Lee Yeon, who used lightning to deal with the new sword, returned to Myoyeongak and talked to Lee Rang (played by Kim Bum), but noticed that Lee Rang had no shadow and was still under illusionism. So, Yiyeon returned to the hotel room and met Satori (Seo Young-joo), the commander of the Shinigami Mercenary Corps.
Yiyeon, who was caught in Satori's phantasmagoria, handed over the treasure obediently, and Ryu Hong-joo (played by Kim So-yeon) and Moo-yeong were shocked to choke each other. Unable to watch this any longer, he raised both hands as if surrendering and said “hurray”, drawing ridicule from Satori. However, when Lee Yeon, whose expression changed instantly, shouted hurray twice more, the mercenaries came and immobilized Satori. When he switched bodies with Newdo, he hinted at the mercenaries. That's how Lee Yeon won the fight against the mercenaries with brilliant resourcefulness.
Afterwards, a big crisis came to Yiyeon, who was planning to get rid of Ryuhei Kato (played by Ha Do-kwon), the head of the police department of the Japanese Government-General of Korea, and return to modern times. Hearing from the masking group (Kim Jeong-nan) that what Moo-young was trying to save was not his older brother, but the 'first mountain god', he ran straight away, but Moo-young was already beaten by the first mountain god. He got angry at Moo-young, who apologized to him, saying, "Do you think I'll forgive you if you go on like this?", but Yi-yeon's crying cry, "Don't die, Mu-yeong," while holding on to her friend who had stopped breathing at the end made the viewers feel sorry.
In this way, Lee Dong-wook expressed Lee Yeon's colorful story in an immersive way. He transformed from a confused expression to a cool look in an instant due to illusionism, making Yiyeon's resourcefulness more dramatic and thrilling. On the other hand, the hand that touched the dead friend with an unbelievable expression and the tears poured out made even the home theater shed tears. As a result, expectations are high on how Lee Dong-wook will finish the story of Lee Yeon, the 'last mountain god of Joseon'.
The final episode of 'The Tale of a Gumiho 1938' will be broadcast at 9:20 pm on the 11th.
