Director Jung Ji-hyeon, who directed Genie TV's original 'House with a Yard', expressed her impressions of seeing Kim Tae-hee and Lim Ji-yeon on the monitor for the first time.

On the afternoon of the 19th, a production presentation for Genie TV's original drama 'House with a Yard' was held at Stanford Hotel Korea in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Actors Kim Tae-hee, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Seong-oh, Choi Jae-rim, and director Jung Ji-hyun attended the event.

Based on the bestseller of the same name, 'House with a Yard' is a suspense thriller about two women living completely different lives due to a strange smell coming from the backyard. This is a new work by director Jung Ji-hyun, who directed the dramas 'Enter a search term WWW' and 'Twenty Five Twenty One'.

In the play, Kim Tae-hee took on the role of Joo-ran. Joo-Ran is a character who lives a picturesque life in a perfect house, but is disturbed by the smell of corpses in the backyard. Especially 'Hi Bye, Mama!' Kim Tae-hee, who returned after 3 years, challenges her first thriller since her debut with 'House with a Yard'.

In the play, Lim Ji-yeon plays Sang-eun. Sang-eun is a woman who dreams of escaping from a pitiful reality. Lim Ji-yeon, who played the role of school violence perpetrator Yeon-jin in the Netflix series 'The Glory', becomes a victim of domestic violence.

On this day, director Jung Ji-hyun said, "The drama has the characteristics of a genre that does not have many lines. Except for Joo-ran and Sang-eun, the other actors must have had a hard time. I wonder if the part where they talked with their facial expressions was difficult." opened

He said, “I suddenly think of a scene where the two (Kim Tae-hee and Lim Ji-yeon) are having a conversation in the monitor. In terms of a normal drama, we talk about these formulas such as full shot, two shot, bust shot. He did it so well that he approached me while watching."

Director Jung Ji-hyun hinted, "I remember that I didn't ask for a lot of direction. So even when I was monitoring such a scene or cut with the two of us, I didn't change the whole thing, but I did the work of getting a little more detail for each character."
