Kim Dong-wook had a son "I thought he died, but he survived"... Jin Ki-joo and Happy Ending
'How I Ran into You' ended the time travel with a warm happy ending.

In the final episode of KBS2's Monday-Tuesday drama 'How I Met You', which aired on the 20th, the happy images of the characters who changed their tragic fate and returned to their places were drawn. The final episode recorded its highest viewership rating of 6.2% (based on households in the metropolitan area of Nielsen Korea), and took first place in the same time slot for Monday-Tuesday dramas, reaping the beauty of the end.

Hae-joon and Yoon-young, who were about to return to 2021, ended up staying in Woo Jeong-ri because their time machine broke down. Hae-jun recalled the day he first discovered the time machine car, and remembered that a mysterious message was left in the car. Before I collided with Yoon-young, I got a phone call from someone, and I remembered saying in an unfamiliar voice, “This is something only you can solve from start to finish.” A new mystery arose as to who was the person with the unfamiliar voice who led Hae-joon and Yoon-young to Ujeong-ri in 1987, stimulating curiosity.

Given an unexpected time in Ujeong-ri, the two prepared to say goodbye to their precious people. After the success of her first film 'Little Door', Yoon-young was happy to see her mother, Lee Soon-ae (played by Seo Ji-hye), recovering her friendship and finding stability. Yoon Young dreamed of a beautiful future with her family while building unforgettable memories with her mother Sun-ae and father Baek Hee-seop (played by Lee Won-jung). Hae-joon also comforted his grandfather Yoon Byeong-goo (played by Kim Jong-soo), who was in a state of disrepair after his son was imprisoned, and tried to mend the painful relationship that had been broken for a long time.

Hae-joon said what he always wanted to say to his mother, Cheong-ah (played by Shin Shin-hye), who suddenly disappeared after her father, Yun Yeon-woo (played by Jeong Jae-kwang), was imprisoned. To Cheong-A, who is upset that the child will resent her, “I am grateful enough for being born into this world. I will think so.

A mysterious man appeared in front of Hae-joon, who was in trouble because of a broken time machine, drawing attention. Surprisingly, he was the son (played by Jinyoung) whom Hae-joon would later give birth to. He made a time machine for his father, who suffered all his life because he couldn't solve the 'Serial Murder Case of Woojeong-ri', and sent him back to the past. In addition, it was revealed that Hae-joon, who was thought to have died after being attacked by his father in 2022, survived and gave birth to a son, adding to the interest.

Hae-joon was able to return to 2021 with Yoon-young with the help of his son from the future. There, the happy family they had been imagining was waiting for them, and the two decided to live hard in the present by meeting precious ties that they missed so much. Yoon-young met her employer, Go Mi-suk (played by Kim Hye-eun), by chance at a bookstore, and through her life, which was completely different without becoming a writer, implied that Hae-joon and Yoon-young properly corrected their wrong future.

Hae-jun was curious about how the relationship between himself and Yoon-young would develop, but rather than asking his son about the future, he chose to find the answer himself. “A flower my father sometimes buys. Hearing the hint that he really liked it, he predicted the happy ending through the image of Hae-jun presenting a flower to Yoon-young. Afterwards, the two of them greeted 2022. In order to prevent the first murder, the time travel back to May 16, 1987 left a lasting impression in the home theater as the last scene was decorated.
