'Swimming's 30th anniversary' Park Tae-hwan "If it's 'Swimming', I've been studying... Now I'm going to contribute"
On the 69th episode of Channel A's 'Men's Life These Days - Groom's Class (hereinafter referred to as 'Groom's Class'), which aired on the 21st, Park Tae-hwan met his close older brother, actor Lee Jong-hyuk, and took a profile picture to commemorate the '30th anniversary of swimming'.
Park Tae-hwan, who planned an underwater profile shoot for 'Swimming 30th Anniversary', called Lee Jong-hyuk as a daily helper. The two, who met at the training center, prepare themselves by building up their bodies and loosening up their facial muscles. Park Tae-hwan asked Lee Jong-hyuk, "I'm going to take a profile picture, so tell me how to make facial expressions." In response, Lee Jong-hyuk and Park Tae-hwan stand side by side in front of a mirror and pass on the know-how of 'relaxing facial muscles'. Park Tae-hwan, who followed this, suddenly said, "I feel like I'll get a rat." In response, Lee Jong-hyuk skillfully loosens up his facial muscles as if possessing a camel.
Park Tae-hwan and Lee Jong-hyuk, who finished their preparations, moved to the location for the profile photo shoot. In the car, while talking to Park Tae-hwan, Lee Jong-hyuk confessed, "Marriage is crazy. When I got married, I had 2 million won in my bank account." When Park Tae-hwan said, “I want to marry when I am stable,” Lee Jong-hyeok advised, “Of course. You shouldn’t do it blindly like me.”
Park Tae-hwan opened his heart to Lee Jong-hyuk. He said, "(When I was an athlete), I felt regretful and difficult about why I had to shoulder everything alone. I was the only one who expected it, so at some point it became a burden." He continued, "When I said swimming, I quit school, but now I want to contribute to the world of swimming. There are also good players. I thought about what I could do for these guys. Maybe I had a hard time in the past, I didn't even think about this." He confessed his changed mindset.
After a deep conversation, the two arrived at the underwater studio and started taking profile pictures. Park Tae-hwan drew admiration by freely posing in the water, using the medals and trophies he had won as props. In addition, the Poseidon spear was also digested as a prop, and the Taegeukgi was unfolded, exuding the majesty of the 'eternal marine boy'. Lee Jong-hyeok, who was coaching Park Tae-hwan's poses and facial expressions outside the water, also got it, and finished the meaningful photo shoot with Park Tae-hwan in a cool duet pose.
