Through the hands of writer Kim Eun-hee, the drama 'Demon' created a Korean-style occult world view that is different from Western occult. In addition to the detailed high-level stories related to the mysterious phenomena, Kim Tae-ri and Oh Jeong-se perform passionately and raise expectations.

On the 23rd at 2:00 PM, the production presentation of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Ghost' was held at SBS in Mok-dong, Seoul. Director Lee Jung-lim and actors Kim Tae-ri, Oh Jeong-se and Hong Kyung attended the event.

'Ghost' is a Korean-style occult mystery drama in which a woman possessed by a demon and a man who can see the demon uncover the mysterious death. Writer Kim Eun-hee, a master of genres such as 'Sign', 'Ghost', 'Signal', and 'Kingdom', was in charge of the script.

Director Lee Jung-rim expressed his feelings about collaborating with writer Kim Eun-hee. He explained the highly immersive script, "It was full. The number of pages equal to the amount of the script. I received a lot of help as a director because he wrote details such as fingerprints. There were many parts that were drawn from the time I read it."

"The occult was a burden even before I first met the artist. I tried to realize unfamiliar paintings. The difference from Western occult is that exorcists did not appear, and I implemented them based on folklore and tales that our ancestors believed for a long time. The people who received it were folklore professors and the Cultural Heritage Administration," revealing traces of contemplation to realize the Korean occult genre.

When asked if there were any ghosts or anything scary at the shooting site as 'Ghost' was based on ghosts, he said, "I believe in ghosts. I was greatly affected by the weather. It's not easy to get foggy in the middle of Seoul, but when filming in Yeouido, There was a time like that. It's already been delayed twice, but there was a time when the fog was so thick that I couldn't see," he revealed a strange anecdote.

Actress Kim Tae-ri plays the role of San-young, a poor young man who is possessed by evil spirits due to an item he received as a keepsake from his father, Koo Moo-mo (played by Jin Seon-kyu). Kim Tae-ri expressed her feelings about participating in 'Ghost'. He said, "When I first received the script, I remember listening to the explanation in words rather than memories. I felt that the material was so fresh. There are so many ghosts in Korea. It was curious and interesting to put it in,” he explained.

'Ghost' is highly anticipated as a script by Kim Eun-hee. When asked how it was after receiving the script, he expressed his affection for the script, saying, "I felt that the story was dense. It was structurally perfect. I felt the completeness of the story filled with 12 parts. As an actor, I was happy to receive such a script."

Kim Tae-ri, who had a lot of troubles while filming the Korean occult genre 'Demon,' said, "It was difficult to play two characters as one person rather than the burden of the genre. I tried to focus on the situation whenever I played each character. It was difficult both from the point of view and from the point of view of the demon. Since I filmed a lot from the point of view of Sanyoung, it was difficult to immerse myself in the demon. 'What kind of person is Sanyoung's original appearance? What kind of person is she before being possessed by a ghost? I asked a lot of questions, 'Do you have anything?' I focused on the emotion of 'Han' of our people. As the filming progressed, I became more confident in what figures I should show for each god."

He continued, “The Sanyoung character has grown up without a father since he was young with a mother who lacks the ability to live. "It's like a character who moves forward steadily without being afraid. Most of the characters I've played have been stronger than me. The strong and strong character San-yeong seems to be different from me, who is shaken a lot." Talk about synchronicity.

When asked about a memorable episode during the filming, he burst into laughter, saying, "The filming set was devastated by the bugs that appeared under our feet. Senior Jeong Se was afraid of bugs, but he played pranks on people."

Actor Oh Jeong-se plays the role of Hae-hae, a folklorist who can see evil spirits. He said, "Because it was a role to see ghosts, I worried a lot about 'what should I do when the person I see encounters a demon?'. Actor Kim Tae-ri was an actor who just reacted without thinking when filming. Actor Hong Kyung has a fresh passion. It was good," he said.

Actor Hong Kyung played the role of Hong Sae, a detective who is confused when faced with a mysterious incident that cannot be explained by reason and science. He said, "I heard that my seniors were participating, and I participated belatedly. I was excited when I thought about when I would be participating in the work of author Kim Eun-hee."

When asked about acting with Kim Tae-ri and Oh Jeong-se, he said, “When I work with good seniors, I get the feeling that they attract a lot. While watching the process, I discovered that Tae-ri is persistent in asking questions. I've seen almost all of the works, but seeing the charisma right in front of me, I received a lot of strange and strange energy.

Regarding the point of watching 'Ghost', Kim Tae-ri said, "I think the occult genre has become very familiar now. Korean and oriental occult seems to be new. I think it will be fun. If you follow the mystery together and make a reasoning, you will have fun watching it. Oh Jeong-se explained, "If you look at it, the characters and stories will permeate."

Hong Kyung-eun added, "It's not easy to see these combinations, so it would be nice to see them even if they bump into each other while following the story." Director Lee expressed his strong pride in the work, saying, "'Ghost' is written by Kim Eun-hee and can be explained just by the three actors appearing."

'Ghost' will be broadcast for the first time at 10 pm on the 23rd.
