Lee Sang-yeop, no blood or tears... Cold-blooded beauty that will surprise even 'best friend Jesse'

KBS 2TV's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Pure Boxer' (script Kim Min-joo, director Choi Sang-yeol, Hong Eun-mi) is based on the novel 'Pure Boxer Lee Kwon-sook' by Choo Jong-nam, the 2nd winner of the Kyobo Book Store Story Contest. It is a match-fixing escape game that puts the life of the person on the line.
Lee Sang-yeop plays the role of Kim Tae-yeong, a sports agent who attracts talented players and then retires them after losing their bone marrow in a short period of time. Kim Tae-young is a bloodless and tear-free person who will do anything for the sake of his player's talent and money. He faces an inflection point in his life when he approaches Lee Kwon-sook (Kim So-hye), a genius boxer who disappeared three years ago for top-class pitcher Kim Hee-won (Choi Jae-woong).
In the stills released on the 4th (today), Lee Sang-yeop's attachment to 'Kim Tae-young', an S&P sports agent who is fully equipped with expedients, tricks, and bribery, as well as flattery, is contained. Lee Sang-yeop draws attention by showing off a chic aura from baseball jumper styling to tracksuits to sophisticated casual wear.
In particular, Lee Sang-yeop predicts various emotional variations, from charismatic eyes with sharp insight to cold-blooded expressions without blood or tears, and raises expectations for the character Kim Tae-young he will present.
The production crew of 'Pure Boxer' said, "From the first filming, Lee Sang-yeop showed a professional image of being fully immersed in Kim Tae-young with a passion for acting. Through 'Pure Boxer', you will be able to see Lee Sang-yeop's colorful charms that have not been seen anywhere else,” he said. /
