Choi Soo-young "SM, artist care concentration is good... Companies leading K-pop are different"

'R U Next' is a survival program that selects members of Hive Labels' next girl group. It contains the process of 22 trainees from Belief Lab participating in a total of 7 round missions, which are essential gateways to becoming an idol.
Choi Soo-young will host the program as a single MC. Gyuri Park, Hyun Lee, Kwon Jo, Jaehwan Kim, and Aiki will serve as coaches.

The market has grown, and there are foreign members in K-pop girl groups. If you have a message like this, you have a lot of references and data. He said, "That's why I study a lot about issues. In fact, there were many times when I didn't even know what I was talking about. Looking at the 22 trainees of ‘Next’, their personalities are still alive like wild horses. It was nice to see that.”

Regarding the comparison between SM Entertainment and Hive, Choi Soo-young said, "I have never experienced Hive. I am an MC, but if I go through it, I think we can compare the systems. But (SM and Hive) are both big companies. It's also good to see the concentration of care from the outside. I felt a lot of love when I was at SM, so I thought that companies leading the K-pop industry were different."
'R U Next' will be broadcast for the first time at 8:50 pm on the 30th.
