Choi Soo-young, a member of girl group Girls' Generation and actress, said that the 22 trainees participating in 'RU Next' are lucky.

On the morning of the 30th, a production presentation for JTBC's new variety show 'R U Next?' was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Producers Yeji Lee, Producer Seonhyung Kim, Sooyoung Choi, Gyuri Park, Hyun Lee, Kwon Jo, and Aiki attended the event.

'R U Next' is a survival program that selects members of Hive Labels' next girl group. It contains the process of 22 trainees from Belief Lab participating in a total of 7 round missions, which are essential gateways to becoming an idol.

Choi Soo-young will host the program as a single MC. Gyuri Park, Hyun Lee, Kwon Jo, Jaehwan Kim, and Aiki will serve as coaches.

On this day, PD Lee Ye-ji said about the reason for selecting Choi Soo-young as the MC, "I am glad that he will empathize with and understand the participants' feelings, as well as have a sense of ownership and serve as a signboard (for the program). I have met the conditions. I am satisfied. The coaches are also people I love. I think the combination is fresh. It is a combination I have not seen before. The most important thing is professionalism, but each of them has excellent capabilities."

Choi Soo-young made her debut in Japan through an audition program before Girls' Generation's debut. He explained, "In 2002, I appeared on a program that became the beginning of a famous survival program in Japan. I was a participant who participated in the audition. In the past, to make the broadcast fun, there was a side to making the participant's character for fun."

He continued, “Now, we have a system that makes the broadcast fun because of the character. I think it’s luck for the friends who are active now. It seems that the broadcasting industry has become more natural and improved now. It seems that it has become a system where the unique personality can be well preserved. Especially, I can feel the love of our production team for these children. I can't make it look negative even once. I love you and you are already 22 passionate fans."

'R U Next' will be broadcast for the first time at 8:50 pm on the 30th.
