Woo!ah! (Wow!) Wooyeon is appearing on Mnet's 'Queendom Puzzle', which airs every Tuesday. 'Queendom Puzzle' is a program that completes the best combination by matching 26 existing girl group members or female artists like a puzzle.
In the 4th episode of 'Queendom Puzzle', 'Remix Battle', which aired on the 4th, Wooyeon took on the main vocal role of the 'Don't Call Me' team, revealing his true value that he hadn't shown before. I placed 3rd in the competition today.
It wasn't a coincidence that 'Queendom Puzzle' showed a good side from the start. Wooyeon, who was in the 4th group before the first stage, selected Taeyeon's 'INVU' in 'Up-Down Battle' and aimed for a re-evaluation, but was too nervous to show off her skills because the original singer, Taeyeon, was watching.
Wooyeon confessed, “I was afraid because I couldn’t satisfy them at the first ‘Up-Down Battle’,” and regretted that he couldn’t speak confidently in the following ‘7:7 Team Battle’.
However, coincidence changed in 'Remix Battle'. With the help of the team members, he took on the main vocal part, and practiced both singing and performance fiercely, saying, "If you make a mistake twice, it's your skill."
Through the stage of 'Don't Call Me', Wooyeon showed his potential as a main vocalist, and proved that he is a singer who can captivate both eyes and ears while performing powerful choreography without any blockage. Wooyeon, who successfully completed the contest with a surprising change, said, "I feel like I've broken a wall with this opportunity."
An official from NV Entertainment, Wooyeon's agency, said, "I think it was time for Wooyeon to adapt to the program until 'Remix Battle'." I give," he said.
