Among them, the miracle boy (played by Bae Hyeon-seong) decorated the shock ending by throwing a decisive rice cake that can be assumed to have time-slipped from 1995.

Detective Park Hyeon-soo (played by Park Yu-rim) came and asked about everything, saying, "The murder case in the novel is happening in reality." Dong-ju, anxious, searched for an article and found the murder of a homeless man at Sopyeong Lake 27 years ago. It was also confirmed that the mysterious photo found along with the manuscript of the novel was that Xiaoping Lake. According to the novel's description, four high school teenagers kicked the homeless man while giggling madly. Then they dragged the homeless man covered in blood and threw him into the lake. The description, "A nighttime game to end their boring teenage years, Hell is empty and all the demons are here" seemed to point to the terrible situation at the time.

Dong-ju obtained unexpected information while asking his friend Jeong Yong-dae (played by Jo Bok-rae), a police officer, to record the case. Recently, after seeing the news that famous film director Shin Gyeong-cheol (played by Song Jae-ryong) was found dead in Sopyeong Lake, Yong-dae's father said, "The lake is haunted" and talked about the previous murder case. There was also a message that the principal of his alma mater knew best about the incident 27 years ago, which took place at Lake Sopyeong near the area where Dong-ju and Yong-dae lived when they were young.

In the meantime, Hyeon-soo's partner, Lee Byeong-man (played by Ahn Nae-sang), was also pursuing a homeless murder case. It was because Byeong-man, the detective in charge at the time, knew that Chun Doo-hyeon, a vicious loan shark suspected of being a serial murder victim, was a witness to the case. In response, Byeong-man, looking at Taegang High School graduation photos of Lee Tae-man, Jong-nam Choi, Sang-woo Na, and Shin Gyeong-cheol, found in the pocket of Jeon Doo-hyun's clothes, found something surprising. At that time, the student named 'Lee Ha-neul', who came to report that he had something to report about the incident, was also a graduate of this school. A teacher who remembers him stated that the genius sky, who did not miss the first place in the school at the time, suddenly disappeared one day, and there were rumors that he died.

To find out about the same incident, Dong-ju also visited her alma mater after a long time. And when I found a picture in the principal's office, I was shocked. In 1995, there was a student who looked just like a boy to the extent that Dong-ju couldn't believe his eyes in the photo of the signing ceremony for a sisterhood relationship with an overseas school. At that time, the boy in Dong-ju's writing room was also looking at Dong-ju's family photo in a meaningful way. Dong-joo's eyes seemed to recognize his father, who died when he was 5 years old. The unimaginable development in which the boy was discovered in the link between 1995 and the homeless murder case shocked the small screen as a new mystery exploded.

The mysterious existence of a male Kai (played by Oh Man-seok) put Dong-ju in a dilemma. As Dongju speculated, if Kai was the one who wrote 'God is dead', there was a high possibility that he was the real culprit of the serial murder case that is currently being reproduced as in the novel. This is an incident that happened before the book came out, and it is because the details of the scene and the method of the crime, which only the person in charge knows, were similar to the description in the novel. According to the novel, he might kill another person in the future. If so, it was right to reveal and report the fact that Dong-ju stole the novel before another victim came out, but it was the end of his own life.
