Park Ji-hwan, infinite love for Uhm Ji-won casting "'Summer Cold', there's no reason not to"

Actor Park Ji-hwan showed affection for Uhm Ji-won.

On the 12th, an online production presentation was held for tvN's 'O'PENing 2023' (hereinafter referred to as 'Opening 2023'). At the production presentation that day, 'Walk', 'Don't Press the Peach', '2:15', 'Summer Cold', 'Summer, Love Machine Blues', and 'Shoot Me' were introduced through parts 1 and 2.

Directed by Jeong Jong-beom and starring Uhm Ji-won and Park Ji-hwan, 'Summer Cold' is the third story of 'Opening 2023', a tvN X TVING drama joint project composed of works by 7 new writers. A pure summer noir film in which a woman who lived in despair and didn't care if she died tomorrow risked her life to protect a man.

Uhm Ji-won takes on the role of Cha In-joo, an employee of a loan company. He said, "It's a work that has the texture of a movie, so I thought I couldn't do it if I missed it now."

Park Ji-hwan, who played the role of Kang Jin-do, a middle-aged man raising a daughter alone, said, "I fell in love with the script. Cha In-joo's character, who can complete this story, was the most important. Since Uhm Ji-won said he was doing it, there was no reason not to do it."

tvN 'Opening' will be broadcast for the first time at 10:40 pm on the 16th.
