K-pop sensation TWICE has set a new milestone by attracting approximately 550,000 fans during their North American tour, marking a historic achievement for a K-pop girl group.

Currently, TWICE is successfully conducting their world tour < THIS IS FOR > across the globe. Starting from Incheon, the tour traversed Asia and Australia before embarking on the North American leg in January this year. By April 18, the tour had spanned 35 shows across 20 cities, making it the group's largest North American tour to date.

The North American tour alone drew an impressive 550,000 attendees, establishing TWICE as the K-pop girl group with the highest audience turnout in the region. Initially scheduled for 22 shows in 20 cities, the tour expanded due to rapid ticket sales. Additional performances were added in Vancouver, Seattle, Oakland, Dallas, Washington D.C., Belmont Park, Hamilton, Orlando, Boston, Chicago, and Austin, with Los Angeles hosting two extra shows, resulting in a four-day TWICE extravaganza.

The tour featured a 360-degree stage setup, offering fans an immersive concert experience. As the intro of mega-hits like 'I CAN'T STOP ME', 'MOONLIGHT SUNRISE', 'The Feels', and 'FANCY' played, fans erupted in cheers and applause.

The concert atmosphere peaked with solo performances by the members and tracks from their mini 14th album 'STRATEGY', which enjoyed long-standing popularity on the US Billboard Hot 100. The stage for 'Strategy' and 'TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)' from the Netflix original soundtrack 'KPop Demon Hunters' further elevated the festive mood.

At the conclusion of the final North American show in Austin on April 18, a special video prepared by local fans was screened, moving the members. They expressed, "As we approach the end of April, having started the North American tour in January with over 30 shows, it truly feels like the end. We are grateful to all the fans who came to see TWICE."

Having set another record in North America, TWICE is poised to achieve a 'first' in Japan. On April 25, 26, and 28, they will become the first overseas artist to hold a solo concert at Tokyo's National Stadium, performing three shows. The stadium, known for its capacity of 80,000 per show, will host TWICE as the first overseas and domestic girl group to perform there.

From 2018 to 2020, TWICE began performing in halls and arenas, becoming the first K-pop girl group to hold three consecutive days of concerts at Tokyo Dome in 2022. In 2023, they held solo concerts at four major venues in Japan: Osaka's Yanmar Stadium Nagai, Tokyo's Ajinomoto Stadium, Nagoya's Vantelin Dome, and Fukuoka's PayPay Dome. In 2024, they will be the first K-pop girl group to perform at Japan's largest venue, Nissan Stadium.
