Dance Prodigy Na Ha-eun Debuts with New Girl Group UNCHILD

Na Ha-eun, known as a dance prodigy, makes her debut with the new girl group UNCHILD.

UNCHILD, consisting of members Park Ye-eun, Hiki, Tina, Ako, Yvonne, and Na Ha-eun, held a media showcase on the 21st at the Blue Square WooriWON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their debut single 'We Are UNCHILD'.

Na Ha-eun first gained attention in 2013 on SBS's 'Star King' as 'Baby HyunA' with her exceptional dance skills. She continued to build her fame as a 'dance prodigy' by running a YouTube channel 'Awesome Haeun', which boasts 5 million subscribers, where she uploaded cover dance videos of various idol groups.

During the event, Na Ha-eun introduced herself as "Na Ha-eun of UNCHILD, not the dance prodigy Na Ha-eun." She expressed her feelings, saying, "The six of us have been working hard together, looking forward to this day, and now that it's our debut day, it feels like a dream."

Having dreamed of becoming an idol for a long time, the decision to debut was particularly emotional for her. Na Ha-eun recalled, "I remember when I received the UNCHILD name tag. It was touching to receive the name tag that idol seniors wear in rehearsal videos. I've received many name tags as 'dance prodigy Na Ha-eun' from shows like 'K-pop Star' and 'Star King', but receiving the 'Na Ha-eun of UNCHILD' name tag made me feel like I've reached my destination."

Given her past attention from the public, she admitted to feeling some pressure. Na Ha-eun said, "It would be a lie to say there was no pressure," but added, "I accepted it as a good kind of pressure and practiced hard with the mindset of showing the public a great side of me as idol Na Ha-eun."

UNCHILD is a new girl group introduced by High Up Entertainment, the first since STAYC about six years ago. The team name uses the prefix 'UN-' to convey their ambition to break free from conventional molds and transform their unique personalities into energy.

The title track 'UNCHILD' is an electronic pop song featuring rough electric guitar riffs and psychedelic electronic sounds. It carries a bold message of overcoming fears and embarking on new adventures. The debut single also includes tracks like 'ENERGY'.

UNCHILD's debut single 'We Are UNCHILD' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM today.
