Virtual idol group PLAVE has reached a career high with their new mini album.

According to domestic music site Hanteo Chart on the 20th, PLAVE's fourth mini album 'Caligo Pt.2', released on the 13th, surpassed 1,255,800 copies in first-week sales, setting a new personal record.

Previously, PLAVE's third mini album 'Caligo Pt.1' and single album 'PLBBUU' each surpassed 1.03 million and 1.09 million copies in first-week sales, making them the first virtual idol group to achieve million-seller status. This latest album once again surpasses their previous records, demonstrating their consistent popularity and growth since debut.

The album is a continuation of their third mini album 'Caligo Pt.1', released in February last year, and draws fans in with an expanded universe and deeper narrative.

Notably, both albums have shown significant streaming impact on Melon, with 'Caligo Pt.1' ranking first and 'Caligo Pt.2' ranking second in 24-hour streaming records. The album showcases PLAVE's wide musical spectrum, featuring a rock-based title track 'Born Savage' alongside genres like acapella, R&B hip-hop, ballad, and new jack swing.
