Cortis Unveils New Album 'GREENGREEN' with Innovative Approaches

The group Cortis has revealed that they explored various approaches to gather ideas for their new album.

Cortis (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Gunho) held a media showcase on the 20th at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second mini-album 'GREENGREEN'.

All members participated in the creation of the new album, earning credits for their contributions. Although the process was not without its challenges, the members found ways to recharge and gather inspiration in their own unique ways.

Gunho recalled, "There was a time when my ideas were exhausted due to a busy schedule. I went to the cinema to watch movies while eating popcorn and tried working comfortably on the lounge sofa outside the studio." Sunghyun added, "I refreshed myself by going for walks and playing basketball. I heard that creativity flourishes in spaces with high ceilings, so I often went to open spaces when I hit a creative block."

Cortis will kick off their comeback activities by first showcasing the title track 'REDRED' from their upcoming album. 'REDRED' features a raw synthesizer sound with a repetitive and catchy rhythm. All members contributed to the lyrics and composition, infusing the song with Cortis's unique style.

The new track 'REDRED' and its music video will be released at 6 PM today. Cortis's second mini-album 'GREENGREEN' is set for official release on May 4th.
