(G)I-DLE Cancels North American Tour: What's Next for the K-Pop Group?

K-pop group (G)I-DLE has canceled their North American tour.

Cube Entertainment, the group's agency, announced on the 20th via TenAsia, "After comprehensive consideration of global activity directions, local schedules, and various conditions, we have decided to reorganize the North American tour."

Originally, (G)I-DLE was set to perform in 10 cities across three countries, including Hamilton in Canada, Newark, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Orlando, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle in the United States, and Mexico City in Mexico this August. However, news of the tour's cancellation was recently shared through ticketing sites.

The agency added, "We are preparing to meet local fans with more complete performances and diverse activities in the future."

(G)I-DLE will continue with their world tour schedule outside of North America as planned. They are also set to perform at the major music festival 'Lollapalooza' in Grant Park, Chicago, from July 30 to August 2 (local time), further accelerating their global activities.
