Panic Completes 20-Year Reunion Concert 'PANIC IS COMING' with Sold-Out Shows
The duo Panic, consisting of singer-songwriter Lee Juck and rapper Kim Jin-pyo, has wrapped up their solo concert 'PANIC IS COMING' after 20 years.

This concert marked their first solo performance since 2006, attracting approximately 5,300 attendees over four shows. Held from April 16 to 19 at the LG SIGNATURE Hall in LG Arts Center Seoul, the event was a complete sell-out.

From the planning stages, the concert focused on providing a unique experience for the audience. By choosing a professional venue with minimal sound dispersion, they ensured impactful band sound and closer interaction with the audience. The absence of LED screens on stage and the linear arrangement of the band session emphasized an analog feel.

The first half of the concert, titled 'Opening: Panic Is Coming,' featured lighting effects that played with contrasts. The stages for 'Clockwork Dolphin' and 'Spiral Staircase' used alternating black and white lights to convey the mood of the songs. The second half shifted the atmosphere with primary color lighting, featuring dynamic tracks like 'Ogi,' 'Mama,' and 'Bug,' which elicited enthusiastic responses from the audience.

Having debuted in 1995 and last performed in 2006, the members shared their reflections on returning to the stage after 20 years. Kim Jin-pyo expressed gratitude to his partner Lee Juck, who in turn expressed a commitment to continue producing performances. The audience joined in singing along to songs like 'The Sea in My Old Drawer' and 'Snail,' with a notable sing-along during 'Snail' accompanied by saxophone and piano.

The encore featured a total of 24 songs, including 'Stone Throwing' and a rap version of 'Left-Handed,' concluding the approximately two-hour event. Music Farm Entertainment, their agency, commented, "The reunion after 20 years showcased Panic's unique musical identity and reaffirmed their irreplaceable brand value in the pop music market."
