BTS Nominated for 'Artist of the Year' at American Music Awards Again

BTS has once again been nominated for the prestigious 'Artist of the Year' award at the American Music Awards, one of the top three music award shows in the United States.

According to the nominee list announced on the 14th by the American Music Awards, BTS is in the running for 'Artist of the Year.' The group made history in 2021 as the first Korean artists to win this award. With this nomination, anticipation is high for their potential second win. BTS will compete against nine pop stars, including Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga.

In addition to 'Artist of the Year,' BTS is also nominated in two other categories: 'Best Male K-Pop Artist' and 'Song of the Summer.' In the 'Song of the Summer' category, they are up against Harry Styles' 'American Girls' and Taylor Swift's 'Elizabeth Taylor.' Their song 'SWIM' was nominated less than a month after its release.

The American Music Awards will take place on May 25th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA. The event will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+.
