YENA's 'Catch Catch' Climbs Charts and Captivates Global Audiences
The title track 'Catch Catch' from YENA's fifth mini-album 'LOVE CATCHER' has been steadily climbing the charts, reaching 27th on the Melon TOP100 chart as of 9 AM on the 13th. This consistent chart presence demonstrates her strong digital performance.
On the global stage, YENA is also achieving remarkable success. She boasts approximately 4.86 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with 'Catch Catch' surpassing 20 million streams, highlighting the song's international appeal.
The 'Catch Catch' challenge has gone viral on YouTube Shorts, generating over 100,000 pieces of content and attracting participation from various idols, including second-generation artists. It has maintained the top spot on Korea's YouTube daily Shorts popular songs chart.
In China, the response has been equally enthusiastic. The 'Catch Catch' challenge has amassed over 630 million views on the short-form platform Douyin. Even after concluding her domestic music show promotions, the song continues to garner attention, proving its enduring popularity.
'Catch Catch' also made a significant impact on China's largest music platform, QQ Music, ranking 2nd on the weekly Korean chart (for the 15th week of 2026, April 9-15). It maintains a stable listening flow with a daily average of 5,000 to 7,000 real-time listeners and a peak of over 8,500 simultaneous listeners. Additionally, it consistently ranks high on the 'Top Trend Chart' and Tencent Music's Korean chart, jointly compiled by QQ Music and Weibo, showcasing its strong presence and digital power.
The music video for 'Catch Catch' is also achieving notable success. Released on the official Bilibili channel in China, it has surpassed 3.8 million views, nearing the 4 million mark, making it the most-viewed K-POP video released in 2026.
YENA recently concluded her '2026 YENA LIVE TOUR [Elusive, 2nd World!]' in Seoul and is set to embark on an Asia tour. Starting with a performance in Macau on the 25th, she will connect with fans in Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and other key Asian locations.
