NMIXX to Release Fifth Mini Album 'Heavy Serenade' on May 11
K-pop group NMIXX is set to release their fifth mini album, 'Heavy Serenade', on May 11.

JYP Entertainment announced on their official social media channels that NMIXX will drop their new mini album 'Heavy Serenade' along with its title track on May 11. The promotional scheduler image, released on April 14, features musical elements like a staff, treble clef, notes, and dynamic symbols, creating a romantic atmosphere.

According to the schedule, NMIXX will kick off promotions with an album trailer on April 21, followed by a tracklist and motion poster on April 22, concept photos on April 24-25, a special website on April 26, an acapella highlight medley on May 3, an original highlight medley on May 7, and a 3D album preview on May 8.

Two weeks before the comeback, they will pre-release the music video for the track 'Crescendo'. The music video teaser will be unveiled on April 27, with the full video dropping on April 28. On May 10, the teaser for the title track 'Heavy Serenade' music video will be released. On the comeback day, May 11, NMIXX will host a countdown live event with fans at 4:40 PM, followed by the official release of the 'Heavy Serenade' music video and album at 6 PM. Additional content, including an in-ear monitor audio on May 18, will be released subsequently.

Last year, NMIXX released two albums, marking a significant turning point in their career. Their first full album's title track 'Blue Valentine' topped major Korean music charts, including Melon's Top 100, daily, weekly, and monthly charts, and won 10 music show awards, achieving a career high.

The group received praise from international media outlets such as Billboard, Teen Vogue, NME, and Dazed, which highlighted the musical appeal and quality of their first full album 'Blue Valentine' and mini album 'Fe3O4: FORWARD'.

Riding this momentum, NMIXX embarked on their first world tour, < EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER >, starting in Incheon last November. The tour sold out the Inspire Arena and concluded successfully in Europe and North America with enthusiastic support from local fans. Recently, NMIXX became the first K-pop group to perform at the São Paulo Carnival in Brazil and the '2026 Viña del Mar Festival' in Chile, solidifying their reputation as a leading girl group on the global stage.

NMIXX's first comeback of 2026, 'Heavy Serenade', will be released on May 11 at 6 PM. Prior to this, they will perform the new track 'Superior' for the first time at the 'Eve Festa', a pre-event for the 'LCK Team Roadshow: T1 Homeground', hosted by global esports company T1 Entertainment & Sports on April 24.
