"There are many 'reporters' here, but like a kickflip, I'll call you 'self'." (Kyehoon)

In response to a request to show some impromptu flirting, Kyehoon of KickFlip made this witty remark. The group KickFlip has returned as the 'masters of flirting'.

KickFlip held a media showcase on the 6th at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their fourth mini album 'My First Kick'.

The fourth mini album captures the prologue of their twenties and the first dazzling challenge of youth. The title track 'I Want to Be Annoying' is a hyper-funk-based dance song that showcases KickFlip's bold transformation. The group's witty and straightforward style adds vibrancy to this direct confession song aimed at a first love.

The album includes the title track 'I Want to Be Annoying', the pre-released track 'Twenty', and five other songs: 'Stup!d', 'Upside Down', 'Scroll', 'Roar', and 'My Direction', making a total of seven tracks. All members contributed to the credits.

Leader Kyehoon participated in writing the lyrics, infusing KickFlip's unique musical color. Kyehoon shared, "After completing the lyrics for 'I Want to Be Annoying', I submitted it to the company. They said the title was very 'Kyehoon-like' and that my unique style was well-represented, which was an honor." Park Jin-young also responded positively. Kyehoon added, "PD Park Jin-young said that those who like my communication platform (Bubble) messages will really enjoy this song. I will strive to meet those expectations."

Kyehoon, who has been in the spotlight as a 'flirting master' with his witty flirting style, has showcased his charm on various platforms and shows. Now, the flirting concept has become part of the group's musical identity. Kyehoon expressed gratitude, saying, "I'm thankful that people recognize us for our flirting. It was a choice to introduce myself and my team to the public. This concept didn't start with me; it began with all of us. I hope 'Kickral' (KickFlip's playful charm) becomes more known through this concept."

With the youngest member Donghyun now an adult, KickFlip is now a group of all adults. Donghyun humorously remarked, "I think we've become a bit more manly and slightly cooler." He added, "We want to maintain the bright and energetic performances we've shown before, but also showcase a more mature side."

Minjae recently gave up his dual citizenship with New Zealand to choose South Korean nationality. Minjae stated, "As a Korean, I naturally wanted to work hard in Korea. So, I gave up my New Zealand citizenship without hesitation."

Member Amaru will not participate in this activity. Amaru has been on hiatus since September last year due to health reasons, and KickFlip has been promoting as a six-member group. Kyehoon commented, "It would have been great if Amaru could join this activity, but his health recovery is the priority. We will prepare harder to show our best."

KickFlip dreams of performing on bigger stages. Donghyun expressed, "I want to hold our first solo concert and release our first full album to share our music with many people." Donghwa added, "We have new handheld microphones this time. We will show even more impressive live performances."

KickFlip's fourth mini album 'My First Kick' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM today.
