KISS OF LIFE Returns with Powerful Comeback, Aiming for the Top of Music Charts

K-pop group KISS OF LIFE is back with their signature intensity, aiming for the top of the music charts.

On the afternoon of the 6th, KISS OF LIFE held a showcase at the Bluesquare WooriWON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to discuss their second single album 'Who is she'.

Member Belle expressed her excitement about the comeback after 10 months, saying, "Even though it's not our first comeback, I'm nervous. We worked hard to hear people say, 'KISS OF LIFE did it again.'" Fellow member Natty added, "I want people to say this song is truly KISS OF LIFE."

Belle explained the title track 'Who is she' as a simple yet symbolic question everyone encounters in life. "Instead of answering 'Who are you?' with words, we want to prove it on stage. We've prepared a powerful performance that will make people ask, 'Who are they?' when we step on stage."

Natty shared her first impression of the title track, saying, "I was sure it was our song. I thought the performance would be intense. This time, I'll be holding the mic and performing live, dancing like a pop star." Haneul humorously added, "Whether you're returning something, going to school, heading to work, or attending an interview, I think listening to this song will give you confidence."

The members also discussed the pair choreography that characterizes their performance. Natty mentioned, "I'm used to pair choreography since almost all our dances have it, but it was my first time pairing with Julie. It was a bit embarrassing to face each other so closely, and we had to hold back laughter. Sometimes during practice, we were surprised to see each other without makeup."

Celebrating their third anniversary, the members emphasized returning to their roots with this album. Julie stated, "This is a very important time for us as we mark our third anniversary. We want to convey our passion, love, and sincerity on stage to the public just as we did at the beginning."

Haneul added, "We've often talked about not losing our initial mindset. Maybe it's not about going back to the past but showing our best."

The theme of this single album is 'underdog', chosen to return to their roots. Julie explained, "Since our debut, we've said it's okay not to be perfect. Let's embrace uncertainty and grow. We chose this theme to return to that mindset."

Belle shared their goal for this activity, "We want to be a team that can be explained just by watching our performance. That's our goal." She added, "We also aim for number one on the music charts. I hope our song becomes one that people want to hear while walking down the street. We envision confidently performing an encore after winning first place on a music show."

'Who is she' is a single album that focuses on the essence of being an artist and expresses oneself honestly. It includes two tracks: the title track 'Who is she' and 'Don't mind me'. The title track features the intense sound and performance of early 2000s dance pop, highlighting KISS OF LIFE's charisma.

KISS OF LIFE's second single album 'Who is she' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on the 6th.
