Lee Chan-won Concludes Daejeon Concert with Enthusiastic Applause
On the 28th at 5 PM and the 29th at 3 PM, the '2025 2026 Lee Chan-won Concert 'Changa: A Glorious Day'' was held at the DCC Daejeon Convention Center Exhibition Hall 2 in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.
This concert marks the beginning of a new nationwide tour following Lee Chan-won's 2024 concert 'Changa'. He captivated Daejeon fans for approximately 202 minutes with performances including tracks from his second studio album 'Glorious', released last October.
Lee Chan-won opened the concert with the title track 'Today Somehow' and 'I'm Going to Meet You' from his new album 'Glorious', a country pop genre with a vibrant beat. He expressed gratitude to the audience, saying, "Thank you for coming to the concert. I'll sing with the feeling of flowers blooming as spring arrives." He then passionately performed Nam Jin's 'Sangsa-hwa' and Na Hoon-a's 'Is That So?'.
He also performed short renditions of 'Why Cry', 'Myung-ja', '18-Year-Old Sooni', 'Give Back My Youth', and 'Ball' to engage the audience. Lee Chan-won delivered a romantic and nostalgic stage with his unique style, covering Cho Yong-pil's 'The Winter Tea House' and Im Joo-ri's 'Put on Thick Lipstick'.
He received applause for his heartfelt ballad 'October Poem', known as a popular wedding song, and his new song 'Shining Star'. He resonated with the middle-aged audience with 'Mother's Spring Day' and 'Flowering Day', delivering deep emotions. Lee Chan-won energetically led the latter part of the concert with 'Chilgapsan', 'Don't Forget', and 'Tess Hyung!'. He then presented a lively stage with the 'Adult Sensibility Retro Medley' including 'First Love', 'New Love Hill', 'Love You', 'Brother', and 'You Are My Man'. He passionately sang 'Mother' accompanied by a daegeum performance and showcased a diverse genre stage with 'Sseurilang' and 'Jinttobaegi' alongside a dance team wearing sangmo.
Lee Chan-won concluded the main performance with 'Rock and Roll Life' from his new album. For the encore, he performed a sing-along medley of the top 5 songs people want to hear on New Year's Day ('Distant Hometown', 'Sunny Day', 'Champion', 'Moon Taryeong', 'Unconditionally').
He continued with a Daejeon medley ('My Hometown Chungcheong-do', 'Chupungnyeong', 'Seosan Tidal Flat Village', 'Crying Over Parkdaljae'), followed by a Daegu medley ('Don't Tackle', 'Naejangsan', 'Today is a Young Day', 'Man's Road'), a year-end party popular song top 5 medley ('Clock Hands', 'Jaok', 'Southbound Train', 'By Chance', 'Apartment'), an Incheon medley ('Take It', 'Brother is Doing Well', 'Bye Bye', 'That Woman's Mascara', 'Met Again'), and an encore medley ('Maiden Boatman', 'Goodbye Busan Port', 'Hiding Tears', 'Island Village Teacher', 'Soyanggang Maiden'), drawing cheers from the audience with a full encore set. Finally, Lee Chan-won concluded the Daejeon concert with 'Seasonal Connection'.
Meanwhile, Lee Chan-won's nationwide tour concert 'Changa: A Glorious Day' has only the Seoul encore performances left on May 9-10.
