K-pop group SeeYa is set to reclaim their title as the 'original Huntrix'.

SeeYa members Nam Gyu-ri, Kim Yeon-ji, and Lee Bo-ram held an interview on the 26th at Lotte Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their first new song in 15 years, 'Nevertheless, We'.

The members drew parallels between themselves and the fictional trio Huntrix from the Netflix original movie 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'. Nam Gyu-ri humorously remarked, "We joked that we are the original 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'. Many from the MZ generation know about 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'. Perhaps those unfamiliar with SeeYa might think we resemble those characters."

Kim Yeon-ji acknowledged, "Some might not know SeeYa," and expressed their intent to share relatable stories through their lyrics, aiming to resonate with audiences of all ages. She confidently added, "We've prepared songs that evoke nostalgia for SeeYa, and even those in their teens and twenties will enjoy them."

The pre-release track's lyrics are entirely in Korean. Lee Bo-ram explained, "Since English isn't our primary language, the Korean lyrics felt more genuine." Nam Gyu-ri added, "Korean allows us to express the same meaning more deeply. The most Korean is the most global," she laughed.

Nam Gyu-ri emphasized the power of music, stating, "Music can touch and connect with international fans, even if the language is different. If given the chance to perform overseas or across the country, I would gladly sing."

SeeYa's pre-release track 'Nevertheless, We' will be available on the 30th at 6 PM. On the same day, they will host a fan meeting to kick off their activities.
