Song Ga-in's 'Tears Fall' has surpassed 1.5 million views on YouTube, showcasing its enduring popularity.

The live clip of 'Tears Fall,' a track from Song Ga-in's fourth studio album 'Gain; Moon' released in February last year, has exceeded 1.56 million views on YouTube as of the 25th, continuing its upward trend.

'Tears Fall' is a song gifted to Song Ga-in by Sim Soo-bong, who participated in the lyrics, composition, and production. The song features lyrical guitar playing and a sensuous string line, highlighting Song Ga-in's deep emotional expression and captivating vocal tone, which has garnered attention.

The song 'Tears Fall' gained significant attention even before its release due to the collaboration between two legends, as it was the first time Sim Soo-bong gifted a song to a junior singer. With the recent rise in YouTube views, the song is being spotlighted again, receiving praise such as "It's great to listen to every day," "Her voice is art," and "I'll still be listening in 2026," leaving a lasting impression.

Previously, Song Ga-in appeared on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs' in 2023, performing a reinterpretation of Sim Soo-bong's self-composed song 'Binari,' leaving a deep impression. At the time, Sim Soo-bong expressed, "I have mixed emotions," and thanked Song Ga-in for singing her song. The performance video has recorded approximately 4.05 million views as of the 25th, consistently being discussed as a 'meeting of legends.'

Through collaborations with senior artists and reinterpretations of performances, Song Ga-in continues to carry on the tradition of authentic trot with her unique style. In August last year, she collaborated with another legendary artist, Seol Woon-do, releasing 'Love's Mambo.'

This song, written and composed by Seol Woon-do for Song Ga-in, is a trot with a mambo rhythm, featuring lively drums, refreshing brass sounds, and synthesizers, showcasing a new charm through the addition of dance elements.

Song Ga-in, who has consistently expressed her respect and gratitude towards her seniors through various broadcasts, has shown her determination to continue the legacy of traditional trot, which is considered a treasure of the Korean music industry. As she solidifies her position as the 'Queen of Trot,' there is growing interest in which legendary artists she will collaborate with next and what new performances she will present.
