ITZY's Yuna Makes Solo Debut with 'Ice Cream' Amidst Support from Fellow Members

ITZY's youngest member, Yuna, is making her solo debut with the support of her fellow group members.

On the 23rd, Yuna held a press conference at the Pullman Ambassador Seoul East in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of her solo debut album 'Ice Cream'.

Yuna prepared for her solo debut with encouragement from her members. She shared, "Thanks to Yeji unnie's impressive solo activities, I was positively influenced and worked hard on my preparation. When the title track was first released, I played it for my members first. They all said, 'It suits you so well,' and 'I can imagine Yuna performing this song on stage.'" She added, "The members sent a snack truck to the music video set. It was winter, and they sent fish-shaped bread and fish cakes. They were so delicious. I ate five of the fish-shaped bread that day."

Particularly, Yeji, who debuted as a solo artist before Yuna, took special care of her as the second soloist in the team. Yuna said, "Yeji unnie came to the music video set. I burst into tears as soon as I saw her. I missed her so much, and her support gave me great strength," hinting at their close relationship.

The title track 'Ice Cream' is a bubblegum pop song that is vibrant and addictive. It conveys a positive message of "enjoying the sweet, melting moment like ice cream without missing it."

The new album includes a total of four tracks: the title track 'Ice Cream', 'B-Boy' which captures a free-spirited mood, 'Blue Maze' which deeply portrays a soft and dreamy moment of love, and 'Hyper Dream' which invites listeners to "jump into the world of dreams" with its dramatic and lavish sound layering.

Yuna's solo mini-album 'Ice Cream' will be released at 6 PM today.
