OWIS (comprising Serin, Haru, Summer, Soy, and Yuni) will release their first mini album 'MUSEUM' on various online music platforms at 6 PM on the 23rd, marking the start of their official activities.
Ahead of their official debut, here are the key points to watch out for with OWIS.
OWIS made a unique start by unexpectedly revealing their debut trailer at the '40th Golden Disc Awards' in January. They have drawn closer to fans by sharing detailed profiles, including members' ages and MBTI, and even showcasing illustrated diaries written by the members themselves.
The group received explosive praise online when they first unveiled the members' visuals in a webtoon format. The concept photos, featuring three versions—school uniforms, practice outfits, and stage costumes—depict their growth journey like a story, heightening anticipation for their debut.
Eight Tracks in a Mini Album: A Showcase of Visuals and Musical Talent
Despite being a mini album, 'MUSEUM' includes a total of eight tracks, offering a richness comparable to a full album. Members Serin, Summer, and Soy participated in writing and composing, showcasing their solid musical capabilities. Following the release of the highlight medley, word quickly spread about the diverse atmospheres of the tracks and the members' captivating vocal tones.
OWIS has not only focused on music but also on visual enjoyment. Collaborating with Rigend Film and six other artists, they have created visual films tailored to the mood of each track. OWIS is expected to captivate fans with content that blends stunning visuals and music.
'Night at the Museum' - Engaging Fans with 'MUSEUM' Promotions
The album 'MUSEUM' features innovative content planning that draws attention. From museum ticket-style posters to leaflet-shaped schedulers and audio guides where members introduce the songs as docents, the variety is impressive. The tracklist exhibition style, using SNS arrangements to display each song as if framed, invites global fans to experience OWIS as a museum, offering a unique experience.
This excitement extends offline as well. From March 17 to April 5, OWIS is hosting a series of large-scale pop-up events at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, featuring three different concepts. These pop-up stores, continuing from pre-debut to the active period, offer a variety of attractions, including media exhibitions reflecting the members' sensibilities and MDs that target fans' preferences, elevating the debut excitement to its peak.
