Kaitlin of At Heart Aspires to Be a Role Model for Filipino K-pop Idols
On the 10th, At Heart sat down with TenAsia to discuss their new digital single 'Butterfly Doors'.
During the interview, Kaitlin shared, "I developed an interest in K-pop during the COVID-19 pandemic and started preparing with my mother's help. I'm very proud to be a K-pop idol from the Philippines. I hope more Filipinos get the opportunity. Just as I had a chance, they will too." She added, "I want to be a role model for such people. Even if they come from a small country, I hope they don't give up," sending a message to aspiring K-pop idols worldwide.
At Heart's digital single 'Butterfly Doors' is a song about the moment when one's perspective expands from their own world to others. The track is characterized by its heavy 808 bass and intricate synth sounds, falling under the pop R&B genre. Previously, their pre-release single 'Shut Up', released on the 26th of last month, was a pop R&B track with a retro funk vibe, confidently conveying a message of moving forward with certainty in fleeting intuition.
Meanwhile, At Heart's digital single 'Butterfly Doors' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on the 11th.
