Stray Kids Break Records with 'Back Door' and Dominate Global Charts
The music video for 'Back Door,' the title track from their first full-length repackage album 'IN生,' released on September 14, 2020, has surpassed 400 million views on YouTube as of the morning of the 8th. The video features special filming techniques and choreography, based on the track produced by the group's in-house producing unit, 3RACHA, consisting of members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. This marks the third time the group has achieved over 400 million views, following 'God's Menu' and 'Thunderous.'
Additionally, local streaming data has been released. According to Luminate, a music and entertainment data analytics company, Stray Kids recorded 1.2 billion on-demand streams in the United States in 2025. On-demand streaming refers to the number of times users directly select and play a specific song or video on a platform. This figure is the highest on-demand streaming record for a K-pop artist in the U.S. last year.
The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) has also added their 2025 annual global chart metrics. Based on the performance of their fourth studio album 'KARMA,' they ranked second in the 'Global Album Sales Chart' category. Furthermore, they were the only K-pop artist to enter the top 10 in both the 'Global Artist Chart' and 'Global Album Chart' categories. Additionally, they have been nominated as a finalist for 'K-pop Group of the Year' at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, set to take place on March 26. This follows their wins in the 'K-pop Album of the Year' category in 2024 and 2025, marking their inclusion in the awards for three consecutive years.
Offline performances are also scheduled. Stray Kids will hold their 6th official fan meeting, 'Stray Kids 6TH FANMEETING STAY in Our Little House,' at Incheon Inspire Arena on March 28 and 29, and April 4 and 5. In June and September, they will headline the 'Governors Ball Music Festival' in New York and 'Rock in Rio' in Brazil, respectively.
