TXT Announces Comeback with First Album Post-Contract Renewal
Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is set to make a comeback on April 13 with their first album following their contract renewal.

The group, consisting of members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, announced the release of their 8th mini-album, '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops in the Thorn Bush', via the global fan platform Weverse at midnight on the 2nd. This marks their first group album since renewing their contracts with Big Hit Music last August.

The album title '7TH YEAR' encapsulates the journey of the group over the years. The poetic and lengthy title, 'When the Wind Stops in the Thorn Bush', evokes memories of TXT's early music. Known for their unique titles like debut track 'CROWN' and the lead single 'Run Away' from their first studio album 'The Dream Chapter: MAGIC', the new album title is already garnering attention.

Alongside the release announcement, an official trailer and photos were unveiled. The black-and-white video features individuals confronting anxiety and distress. The fluorescent thorn bush contrasting with the monochrome background and the silhouette covered in thorns leave fans curious about the album's message. The five members recite the lyrics of 'Thorn Tree' by Poet and the Village Chief in calm voices, enhancing the immersive experience. The photos also utilize the thorn bush as an object, maintaining a sophisticated black-and-white tone consistent with the video.

The trailer for the new album was first revealed during the special concert '2026 TXT MOA CON', celebrating their 7th anniversary on March 1, receiving an enthusiastic response from the audience. Held from February 27 to March 1 at the KSPO DOME in Seoul's Songpa District, the concert attracted approximately 33,000 attendees. The members showcased a setlist encompassing their seven-year narrative and delivered live band performances. They also swapped solo songs, revealing new charms, and added fun with various cover performances. At the end of the concert, they expressed heartfelt sentiments, saying, "The team is incredibly precious. We want to continue together and protect it. We hope you will stay with us for a long time."

TXT's 8th mini-album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops in the Thorn Bush' will be released on April 13 at 6 PM.
