K-Pop Diva Hwasa to Perform at Rock in Rio 2026
K-pop sensation Hwasa is set to take the stage at one of the world's largest music festivals, 'Rock in Rio'.

On the 27th, her agency P Nation announced, "Hwasa has been invited as a guest performer for 'Rock in Rio 2026', which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this September."

'Rock in Rio 2026' is scheduled to take place from September 4th to 7th and 11th to 13th at the Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro, with Hwasa performing on the 11th.

Since its inception in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, 'Rock in Rio' has become one of the world's largest music festivals, drawing millions of attendees. It has been hosted in various locations, including Lisbon, Madrid, and Las Vegas.

Dubbed the 'stage of dreams' for musicians, 'Rock in Rio' has featured top stars like Queen, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, and Beyonce. This year, legends like Elton John and Maroon 5 are part of the lineup, with Stray Kids making headlines as the first K-pop group to headline.

Hwasa is expected to captivate the passionate local fans with her enchanting voice and commanding stage presence, showcasing her charm as a representative K-pop diva.

Her setlist will include hits like 'Twit', 'Maria', 'I Love My Body', and the recent mega-hit 'Good Goodbye', promising to enthrall the audience with her unique style.

Released in October last year, 'Good Goodbye' achieved a record-breaking 750 'Perfect All-Kill' rankings on iChart, the highest for any domestic artist. Hwasa also claimed the Triple Crown on SBS 'Inkigayo' and won five music show awards, marking her best achievements as a solo artist.

Following her first solo concert 'MI CASA' in January, which showcased her 12-year artistry, Hwasa's appearance at 'Rock in Rio' is expected to further solidify her status as a global 'solo queen'.
