Singer-Songwriter Lee Min-kyung Returns with New Single 'Hug'
On the 25th at 6 PM, Lee Min-kyung's second single album 'Hug' was released on major music streaming platforms both domestically and internationally. This marks her return to solo activities approximately 1 year and 9 months after her debut single 'The Night That Doesn't Come' in May 2024.
The song 'Hug' conveys the message that no matter how tough and challenging life gets, everything passes when you're with someone precious. It features a warm sentiment that allows listeners to enjoy the coziness at the end of winter.
The music video is an animation depicting the journey of 'Zero,' a frog that wakes up early from hibernation, and 'Tori,' a bird that is very sensitive to the cold. This is Lee Min-kyung's first AI video project, where hand-drawn characters are brought to life using artificial intelligence.
In addition to her solo career, Lee Min-kyung is also active as the leader of the team LIVIN'D. They released the title track 'Rainy Season (ORANGE mix)' for the 'MAMAMOO 10th Anniversary Remake 'Coloring' Project vol.2' in January last year.
