KATSEYE's Manon Takes Hiatus to Focus on Health and Well-being
On the 21st, KATSEYE's agency, HYBE & Geffen Records, announced via the fan communication platform Weverse, "After honest and thorough discussions, Manon has decided to temporarily halt group activities to focus on her health and well-being."
The agency stated, "We fully support this decision. KATSEYE will continue to do their best for each other and for our most cherished fans. During this period, the group will proceed with their scheduled activities and look forward to reuniting when the time is right."
Manon shared with fans, "I wanted to tell you this personally. I am healthy, okay, and taking good care of myself. Thank you for your concern and for checking in on me. Sometimes things unfold in ways we can't fully control, but I believe in the bigger picture. Thank you for standing by me. I look forward to the day we meet again."
KATSEYE, the group Manon is part of, was formed through the audition project 'The Debut: Dream Academy.' KATSEYE was nominated for 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' at the 68th Grammy Awards held on the 1st. They are set to perform at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in California this April, following their appearance at 'Lollapalooza South America.'
