Golden Child's Lee Dae-yeol Releases Heartfelt Solo Track 'Where Stars Grow'
On the 10th at noon, Lee Dae-yeol will release his new song 'Where Stars Grow' on various music streaming platforms.
'Where Stars Grow' captures the time of leader Lee Dae-yeol, who has steadfastly held his place like a tree, and the members who have grown together, blossoming and scattering like petals on its roots. Just as starlit flowers bloom on a tree, the heartfelt emotions for each other are woven into the music, delivering a deep sense of emotion.
Notably, the song gains added significance with the participation of former Golden Child member TAG in the lyrics and composition. TAG likens the tree to Lee Dae-yeol and the petals to the members, completing the song with a message that even as time passes and the flowers fade, their traces remain as a path of flowers, expressing the meaning of the time spent together and an unwavering affection for the team.
The album cover image for 'Where Stars Grow' visually narrates the song's story by depicting Lee Dae-yeol amidst a space filled with green grass and plants. The objects harmonized with nature evoke the symbols of 'tree' and 'flower,' while Lee Dae-yeol's calm gaze into the distance conveys the strength and warmth of a leader who has held his place for a long time.
This release marks Lee Dae-yeol's first solo track in approximately 4 years and 5 months since 'Flowing Through the Window,' a track from Golden Child's second full album 'Game Changer' released in September 2021. Having showcased his talents in various fields, including group activities, variety shows, and musicals as the leader of Golden Child, Lee Dae-yeol is expected to convey warmth with a deeper emotional resonance through his new song 'Where Stars Grow.'
