G-DRAGON Unites Generations at First Solo Fan Meeting 'FAM' in Seoul

G-DRAGON, the iconic K-pop star, held his first-ever solo fan meeting, drawing over 40,000 fans over three days and creating a family-like narrative with his diverse fanbase, 'FAM'.

From October 6th to 8th, G-DRAGON hosted the '2026 G-DRAGON 'FAM' MEETING [FAM+ILY : FAMILY : FAM I LOVE YOU]' at the KSPO DOME in Seoul's Songpa District.

The event brought together fans from different generations, from newly joined teenagers to those who shared their youth during BIGBANG's heyday and are now in their middle age. This marked G-DRAGON's first solo fan meeting since his debut, featuring a 360-degree open stage and a design that allowed for eye contact with fans, blending nostalgia with the present.

The event was hosted by YouTuber Mimiminu, a self-proclaimed fan of G-DRAGON, who added a lively atmosphere with natural banter and shared emotions. During the fan meeting, both the host and G-DRAGON were visibly moved while sharing messages from fans, leaving a lasting impression.

G-DRAGON made a grand entrance on a giant crown, kicking off the fan meeting with '소년이여', raising the energy of the venue. He then performed '니가 뭔데 (Who You?)', donning a white shirt, jeans, and a red cap reminiscent of his 2013 'Inkigayo' performance, delighting fans with a legendary vibe. The event concluded with tracks 'TAKE ME' and 'IBELONGIIU' from his recent album 'Übermensch', leaving a deep resonance.

G-DRAGON also hosted mini-games to give away various gifts he prepared for fans, showcasing the essence of 'fan service'. During the challenge time, he presented fan-favorite challenges like 'Doma', 'CHANEL', and 'Aegyo Challenge'.

G-DRAGON expressed, "I held this fan meeting to welcome new family members after my comeback. I wanted to create a family gathering-like event for those who couldn't join the tour." He added, "It was like a wishlist come true, and it was more enjoyable together. I love you all." He continued, "The first official family gathering lasted three days, and it was a time to reunite. Spring is coming soon, so please take a break and wait along the flower path." He concluded by sharing his excitement for BIGBANG's 20th anniversary comeback, saying, "As a member and a fan, I am also looking forward to it, and I believe all the members feel the same."

G-DRAGON will continue his solo fan meeting '2026 G-DRAGON 'FAM' MEETING [FAM+ILY : FAMILY : FAM I LOVE YOU]' in Japan at Yokohama PIA ARENA MM from October 13th to 15th, and in Bangkok, Thailand at BITEC from October 21st to 22nd, meeting with local fans.
