Kim EuiYoung Tops Poll as the Female Trot Singer Most Likely to Escort You Home on a Chilly Night

Korean trot singer Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one female trot singer most likely to escort you home on a chilly night.

From the 15 to 21, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you want to escort you home on a chilly night?' Kim Eui-young emerged as the top choice.

Kim Eui-young made her official debut as a trot singer after finishing in the TOP 5 on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. In May of last year, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1,' produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want' is a bright and lively dance trot song that showcases Kim's refreshing charm.

Singer Sohee claimed the second spot. After appearing on Mnet's 'Produce 101' in 2016 and working as a girl group member, Sohee gained public attention by reaching the TOP 6 on the trot audition program 'Trot Girls Japan.' In interviews, Sohee clarified, "To be precise, I haven't officially transitioned to being a trot singer."

In third place is singer Kim Da-hyun, who released her third studio album 'Black Swan' on October 16. The title track, 'Black Swan,' which Kim wrote and composed herself, is a dance song with an EDM rhythm and K-POP sensibility. Kim expressed her excitement, saying, "As a teenager, deciding to release 'Black Swan,' my first self-written and composed title track, is an exhilarating experience."

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to go glamping with?', 'Which female singer would you like to go glamping with?', 'Which male trot singer would you like to go glamping with?', and 'Which female trot singer would you like to go glamping with?'
